I am yet to try one of their soups that isn't awesome - really good macros for those dieting. No nonsense garbage just natural ingredients. Fairly high protein for soup too.

So does the Melorose one from Coles not have a coconut flavour?
If not, what is the flavour?
How versatile is it if it DOES have a flavour though? As in would I want to cook something like a tomatoes/chicken dish with it?
In any case; I came across this just googling quickly.

Buy, unsweetened desiccated coconut and blend it in a thermo-mix.

I haven't tasted this one - but Oil and Butter are (should be) completely different. Unfortunately companies still call the 'oil' a 'butter' (because it looks like butter), so it gets confusing.
For this one - I would imagine it is a 'oil' judging by the 'virgin / cold pressed' label.
Anyway - The oil is just the fat content - so it has a blander taste (faint taste of coconut only). It essentially acts like ghee/ solid fat - and can therefore be used in cooking with ease. The butter *should* be the coconut version of peanut butter or almond butter (it is the whole pulp blended and creamed). It has a rich coconut flavour and is ultra yummy.... But it isn't as useful for cooking (as it is more of a paste than a butter / oil).
