    And got on the scale this morning....205.8

    Huh! Weird. I did add the stuff that's supposed to help with flushing.....that's all I changed. Cranberry juice (8 oz unsweetened), lemon water, 2 eggs, 2 T flax seeds and 2 T flax oil. Seriously. Odd.

    A day today. Weights the same as the other day. I hate losing strength. I like the scale to move down more than I hate losing strength so ...that's what I do.

    Work done (1 house....10-12:30). Then cleaned my house. Laundry and pool stuff coming up. Feeling like I can function and not all consumed by my diet/weight. I need some fun...can't wait for Saturday!!!!

    And another day! Cals were high yesterday....Adding those things in bumps my calories up and it's not even the fun calories.

    Feel good though. Most of those calories came from veggies as I had some delicious minestrone soup (sans pasta) that will last me the week. My honey is so good to me! Always makes sure I have chicken breasts, veggies chopped, fruit chopped and delicious, healthy dinners.

    Cardio today and one house to clean. My weigh in day will be Saturday this week because of my big block party that I'm drinking and eating at with wild abandon! Kind of can't wait. I haven't had a day like that since April and I need it.

    Another day! Had neighbors over last night....cals were an estimate ( I tend to over estimate but that's ok) and higher then I wanted but ....it was a social event and they are going to happen.

    Perhaps a reefed day of sorts. I'm not worried. My biggest hurdles over the years was to stop bingeing...and this wasn't a binge. I consider myself in trouble when I'm eating alone...or at home...for no reason. No event....That hasn't happened in a loooooong time. I don't get cravings. I do sometimes find myself wanting "something" to snack on...but

    I can always get away with chocolate crunch rice cracker with 1 T PB and coffee (if I want something sweet) or popcorn if it's crunch and salty...both of which can be fit in to my day. Last night was not a binge. Onward

    Today I have B weight day. And 1 house to clean (2 1/2 hours). I think I'm going to try to squeeze in an extra hour cardio session tonight to act as a buffer from the 2 high days I had plus a PLANNED cheat on Saturday. We'll see how my body feels. I generally am not hungry the next day after a high cal day so I'll use it to my advantage to balance my week out.

    Heya kmac Just browsing journals and thought I'd pop in here and say hello! You're doing great. That scale thing is hella frustrating. It helps my brain to look at this experience as a big experiment - and tweaking and testing things out are part of it. Up calories, down calories, fix macros, etc...finding what works for your own body may take a while, but it's worth it in the end.

    How are you liking NROL4W?? I did that program a few years ago and really enjoyed it..

    hey! Thanks for popping in! I actually am doing the ice cream fitness 5x5. I HAD done NROL but actually, didn't like it. Very boring for me. I'm liking ICF though. It's tough because I can't increase weighs much right now...damn cut. But...I need to take this weight off as a first priority. What are you doing now?

    Ummm...that's not where I want to be...now I've had 3 high days...in a row. So yesterdays problem was.....

    A. 636 calories of stuff I've added to my day to help with the water weight .....So my normal meals are now throwing me over
    B. Was hungry at lunch so had a bigger than normal lunch.
    C. My honey brought home pizza and I had 2 slices...as normal as that is...I was already over (see 1 and 2)

    So.....I will try one more day to do the flushing things to help with water weight but if it's causing me to go over calories , I need to let it go.

    My ONLY saving grace this week is I've been super busy at work so maybe the extra movement will keep me ok. We'll see. I'm not worried because...

    A. It's one week and I think hormonally I needed something extra....It's been since April without a diet break AT ALL and I'm feeling good, actually

    B. I'm not bingeing. The higher calories are different than mindless eating. And not cravings either. So....


    Today....Cardio....1 house to clean (2 1/2 hours) and then I'm home....should be all done by noon. That leaves way too much time to be inactive. Wish I had something else fun, sporty, etc...to do. Anyway....That's my plan.

    Planning for a repeat today. Weigh in tomorrow before the big party so it's a 6 day week ....hope it's a good number! Either way, I actually feel really good this week and the bit of a diet break (not really, just high cal) for 3 days did something good. I can feel it.

    A day today. Not looking for big increases....I'll be happy at maintaining now. Lawn mowing and running around for the party should negate the day off from work calories.

    Picking up my daughter today at noon! Yay!!!! And my oldest is having is wisdom teeth out Monday. Boo.

Cardio today and setting up in a bit so I should have a nice deficit to start the day. Sometimes, when I plan to eat, I don't. I just get so busy hosting the event. That's ok...I'm going to try.     Meant to come back with weight....204.8!!! 3 lbs lost this week and 44.8 total. So happy.

    Block party was awesome! No idea of cals. None. Ate and drank. It's over.

    Sunday was day off from workouts and cals were back to good

    Oh...and in case anybody is wondering.....I'm still doing the fat flush protocols and it seems to be helping which is weird and slightly annoying.

    8 oz unsweetened cranberry juice (mixed with 56 oz water...)
    2 T flax seeds
    2 T flax oil
    2 eggs
    hot lemon water

    everyday....which a little sucks because its over 600 cals for it. I'll do it for as long as it's helping me though.

    I'm not doing any kind of set program really - I'm just really doing a body part split for the moment. I'm in therapy for a hip injury so it's limited what I can do workout wise. (No cardio, limited leg exercises). It pretty much sucks, but it'll be over soon.

    I don't think i've heard of ICF? I'll have to look that one up..

    These fat flush protocals - are they supposed to help you lose water weight? Or...what do they do exactly? Do you do them everyday?

    Oh, maybe I'll revive my journal.

    I'm so bad at posting in my own journal but do fine in the motivation thread. Wonder why that is? Ok...so let's catch up to where I am now.

    Currently going to weight watchers with my husband and following same diet as when I was calorie counting. We do love the meetings though. Check cals through lose it app too (at the end of the day).

    Still following ICF on a cut version. Noticing big changes in my lower half which is super nice.

    Went to the gym on Saturday with my Dad and tried some PR since he was there to spot me and also since I work out at home now, it's different.

    So I squatted 95 3x5. Felt fine and could have done more.

    Lat pull down (wide grip) 120 3x5. PR

    Bench 1RM 100 PR

    Deadlift 135 PR Definitely felt I could have pulled more

    Curls (EZ bar on cables) 75 2x8 PR

    OHP 45 PR (shoulder issues so I was happy there)

    Last weeks weigh in I was up .8 which I expected because TOM was coming the next day and I had an anniversary dinner out the sat before tues weigh in. But this week I was up .2 which I wasn't expecting. I was seriously expecting a whoosh because of tom being gone and diet on point and I got a lot of exercise and general movement in. But with the PR's I hit....maybe that's something. I will not dwell on it. If the scale doesn't move next week or goes up...time to adjust.

    I mostly feel like I'm hitting a stride. Even though the scale has not changed, the mirror has. I'm noticing a lot of lower body stuff changing. My pants are baggy...just had to buy new jeans (size 14 Old Navy skinny....sweetheart cut). Happy about that.

    For whatever reason...I cannot do an aggressive cut. My hormones get all out of whack and I feel awful. Depressed, hopeless, sad. All feelings that I don't usually have at all. So, small deficits. Slow weight loss....whatever. What difference does it make in the long run, really?

    I'm down 51.2 lbs since August 2012. If I'm 50 lbs lighter for August 2014, I'll be ecstatic. Goal weight is...who knows. Last time I lost significant weight (223 down to 146) I didn't lift at all. I was wearing 6's and 8's but still felt I had a long way to go. It's the only time I didn't lift from February 2005 to the following year March. Didn't lift. So I have no idea what weight I should be at. My WW goal weight is 138. I think that is reasonable and attainable. That means 60 lbs to go. I got this.

    So today is a rest day. I will probably hike though. And some errands. That's it on the agenda. Tomorrow is A day. I hope I can be better about writing in my journal.

    I had a few more cals/points I could have used to get my protein up but I wasn't hungry and I did absolutely nothing energetic yesterday so I figured leave well enough alone. I swear I get more protein usually.

    Today is another day off from work. More of a sedentary week this week than last....watch...I'll lose this week. Last week I worked out a lot....intentional and otherwise. Never is what you expect. LOL

    Saw 2 people last night that haven't seen me in a couple of months and they said how fantastic I looked. So that made me feel good. People are noticing.

    Ok....forcing myself to write in my own journal! LOL

    Yesterdays lifts were fine. Nothing epic...nothing failing. Just got the work done. Cals were a bit high but went with how I felt

    2013 123P, 250 C, 65F

    WW points 42 (I get 29 daily and 49 weekly to use a few in one day or all at once, etc.)

    I have 2 social events this weekend so I've planned some snacks that I can enjoy there and will be adding Cardio today and tomorrow to offset any over cals. Tomorrows will include alcohol.

    So in reviewing the weeks where I've had the best losses, I've found that my cals were around 1600-1700 and I did cardio (1 hour...HRM says 400 cals burned avg) 3 x's a week. So...that's where I'm going now.

    I've got to make some headway. So... got to go walk/run.

    hey! so good to see you here kristen.

    your lifts are lookin awesome.

    i think i might ask my older to watch the toddler for a while today (i pay him) so i can workout on the elliptical in the other room. i was going to just do some housework, but you spurred me. i know i was losing best around 1700 plus lots of cardio, too. thanks!
