turkey hill party cake

havent had this since summer. Still love it as much as the first carton. IMO its the best store bought cake flavor Ive run across. Great frosting swirl, plenty of cake pieces, and a great tasting base. Its very reminiscent of butter cream frosting. Its a little airy but it doesnt take away at all IMO.

note: the 1 thing that pisses me off is the macros are wrong. "160 cals. 13g fat/21g carbs/2g pro"...Ive been logging it as having 8g fat just because I cant imagine it has 13 per serving. obviously not a big deal since im bulking but I am curious which is right.

Win! It's been a while since I've seen Party Cake around the city, but Turkey Hill does it really nicely with this. The frosting is so fantastic.

For regular flavors, the brown sugar and molasses flavored ice cream as a base for their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough makes it stand out. Harder to find, but arguably my favorite is Phillies Graham Slam (Graham flavored ice cream with scoops of choco marshmallow cups and a graham swirl).

I have great self control and it caused me to binge and eat almost the entire half gallon in one go. Would buy up the stock next time I see it lol

It's a black cherry base with black cherries mixed in. I only had like four cherries in my pint, but they were good when I found them. The base is actually damn good, and I'm not a fruity-flavored kinda guy.

This would have kicked ass if there was like a chocolate swirl or some chocolate covered cherries to offset that solid cherry base.

So I checked out the local scoop shop near me online and they have a couple new favors I have never heard of before. Of course they have candy bar crunch, but they also said they have chocolate peanut buttery swirl, coconut seven layer bar, the CCBBB, strawberry, sweet cream & cookies, and vanilla fudge chip. The sweet cream & cookies is sweet cream ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies, basically Oreos. I'm definitely getting the candy bar pie when I go, but any other suggestions? Might get the sweet cream and cookies, it sounds good.

Ask to sample them, they usually give you small spoon samples so you can try them all and then pick up what you want.

Hmmm... That's tough. I'd say WAC has the edge right now. Then again I've only tries CPB once and I've scooped WAC 4 or 5 times, so I think it's only fair I give CPB a few more shots.

This is for me personally the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I love coconut and this just takes the cake, its very soft and the random little coconut cream pie pieces make it even better. A dream come true for coconut lovers. Not excited its limited edition though.

I will second the Cookie dough flavor, the brown sugar aspect adds so much more.

Also unless you live in an area were the Phillies are popular it'll be hard to get Graham Slam. The flavor is Phillies themed. (lame pun, but awesome flavor)

Marshmallows and Carmel compliment the PB base very well for a well rounded flavor
Pretzels and fudge are both killer it will come down to personal preference with the PB base and mix ins. Thanks for your honesty

These are scoop shop exclusives and I've tried almost all of them.

Butter Pecan was weak, sweet cream and cookies was much worse than milk and cookies, and the mint one wasn't any good. Also, choco PB swirl to me is an inferior version of HD's choco PB. I would deff do the Coconut seven layer though, its a scoop shop staple and the candy bar pie. CCBBB is nothing special either.

In other news the scoop shop just got rainbow sherbert here but I don't even want to try it.

The Phillies flavors are concentrated around PA, like the Yankees flavored are around NY. That said, for some reason there's a shoprite on long island that stocks Phillies Batter up and always has it. Great flavor too, though party cake is better.

This base utterly batters B&J's Oatmeal Cookie Chunk. If only they'd add some oatmeal/raisin mix ins they'd probably have Chad's first 10.0.

No I haven't yet, but I love coconuts and most HD flavors. Im going to have to see if any of my local stores have it so I can indulge my taste buds.

Im finding out that Turkey Hill is extremely underrated though. Most people shoot for the BnJ, which are good, but I find that TH is actually getting me just as satisfied.
