    Talenti Southern Butter Pecan

Absolutely adored this pint. The pecan mix-ins weren't particularly exciting or overly abundant, but the dulce de leche swirls were delicious, and the creamy base was fantastic on its own. Butter Pecan was always one of my fav's growing up though, so I might be biased.

Love The Bent Spoon. Lived, or still live? If you're still close, head over to Halo Farm in Trenton if you get a chance. That's the micro-dairy, and they sell ice cream by the pint. Good stuff! Plus you can get milk, etc. for super cheap.

Every single pint of Talenti I've bought has had this on the top layer. Fortunately, it doesn't effect the taste all that much. BUT STILL...

Yeah, like Chad said, it was just the very top layer, and it didn't hurt the taste/texture at all. I noticed same with SSC, the only other Talenti I've ever purchased.

This is the first time I'm ever eating ice cream without feeling like I'm actually cheating. I went to the grocery store knowing I wanted something, so I picked out my ice cream first, and then picked out my dinner to make everything fit. I don't feel guilty about it, but it's a little weird, considering it's always been beaten into us that ice cream is a cheat food.

Because of this, I still decided to play it safe... Went with Yoplait Greek frozen yogurt in honey caramel (I'd post a pic, but I'm not sure how to do that). It's pretty good. And it's easy enough on the macros that I can have two servings. So happy to be eating one of my favorite indulgences, guilt free.

I have been probably the biggest advocate of that flavor, but I have found it hard to locate as well. I only seem to be able to get it at the mega walmart, which is 30 minutes away from me, so when I do make the trip I bring a little cooler and buy like 5+ pints (srs).

Interesting review...I personally thought one of the best components of this flavor was how abundant and thick the sweet and salty swirls were, they were thick enough for me to chew like dough in my pint. Hopefully someone else writes up a review to clear this up since Bob may have gotten some bottom of the container scoops.

There were non-existant in my scoop (again its only 2 scoops)
This was RIGHT off the bottom of the container, they had one of their freezers down. I went and got this with a board member on here (Usawinston) and he even stated that when he had it in New York the swirls were much richer than when we tried it in Pittsburgh.

Honestly there were 0. Maybe Winston could chime in regarding the scoop shop.

You should of saw what they considered 2 scoops the first time they tried to give us ice cream, it was maybe 2oz of ice cream and a scoop off a baby spoon.. LOL at the employees.

    Birthday Ice Cream

Still my number one flavor. Seriously nervous about them messing with the recipe because of this Fair Trade rubbish. Seriously, look at those glorious nuggets.

Sure did, tipped them as much as the ice cream cost. Once they filled the bowl and the owner came over and told them they were shortchanging their customers the amount they loaded up in there (as seen in pic) was more like 3 scoops not 2, so for the effort they got a few extra dollars.

I'm sure ya'll have tried it, but I just noticed the Talenti's were 200 cals yesterday so instead of picking up another B&J FROYO, I grabbed a Banana Chocolate Swirl Gelato

Definitely good as some of the better B&J Froyo's. Will try some more flavors!

Seeing all the ice cream here makes me jealous that I'm in Canada. Apparently 9 Ben & the Jerry's flavors available total. 16 are available in their scoop shops, but there's only 6 of those nation wide.
