Philly/Pitt always have greater selection on HD and BnJ in general. Plus they have scoop shops! Hope to see you try Candy Bar Pie and get a review up.

Good point about the selection choices in Philly. I'm pumped about the scoop shop, there's one ten blocks from my apartment so I'll check it out some time this week. If I see Candy Bar Pie I'll do a review.

Have you had B&Js Pb cup before, and can you say the base is comparable to BnJs?

I'm kinda hoping HDs PB base has a stronger flavor as apposed to B&Js almost bland PB taste imo.

I've had B&J PB cup but I honestly couldn't say if HD has a stronger base because I encountered a PB swirl in every bite I tried of PB Pie and didn't get the base by itself. If I have some this coming weekend I'll report back about it. I don't think B&J has a bland PB base though, I like it alot, you must have gotten an off pint or something.

Their Peanut Butter cup is really bomb, unfortunatley i've only found it in single serving containers. Its Peanut Butter base with PB cups in it, I've only seen the chocolate base PB cup in the tubs.

Had Blue Bell Mint Cookies and Cream. Pretty solid flavor. Had bits of Oreo and chocolate chips. My only criticism would be that there were almost too many mix ins and some bites you didnt get enough mint flavor. The base was very good. Solid B+

I was referring to the mint flavor with cookie bits. CCBBB sounds great, love coffee flavors. Banaroo Buzz is incredible. Is it the same thing?

I don't necessarily like the fact that they don't put all the flavors on the website. For example, I found out about Banana Cream Pie far too late, and then I believe they stopped making it. So for all the flavors not listed on the website (some now discontinued) there is:

Treat it like it's false, and just eat this flavor as you would normally eat a pint with 1000+ kcal.

The NO nutrition facts make NO sense. Well, I just wanted to sound clever, but they don't really make a ton of sense to me. The first four ingredients of every pint are pretty much the same five ingredients (cream, skim milk, buttermilk, sugar, corn syrup) but not in the same order every time and yet the fat, saturated fat, and sugar content is wildly different between the pints.

For example, the Mississippi Debris lists 5g of fat per serving, 19g carbs, 16g sugar, 1g of protein. The ingredients are cream, skim milk, sugar, buttermilk, corn syrup, etc. But then you look at other flavors with the same ingredients in the same order (without their being too much else in the ingredient list that would point to large variations) and the fat contents are 10g, 13g, 14g...the Creole Cream Cheese lists skim milk first with the rest in order and has 30g carbs, 23g of sugar and 21g fat...so somehow, there's 16g more fat and 11g more carbs and 7g more sugar? I don't know, my interpretation is somewhat short sighted, but I don't think they're very accurate at all. For example, with a company like HD, when looking just at their ice creams, do you see such variation in nutritional facts?

Figures. The choco mint chip ice cream (same base to a large extent) is light on the mint flavor also.



Funnily enough, this weekend I grabbed a couple of mint-based product to try out, including this, Edy's, which had a stronger mint flavor and was probably more enjoyable.



But each were blown away by TH's Lady Liberty Mint, which has an epic chocolate cookie swirl and chocolate cake pieces scattered throughout.

Best thing is, I don't find a ton of difference between the grand and slow churned versions as far as taste goes, so the mere 110kcals the slow churned supplies is awesome. I'm onto my third tub of the slow churned this season alone (had grand once also)

You're forgetting one key point: overrun.
