4 years of technical drawing, I pay attention to details.
I zero in on all of my imperfections and I keep recounting them until everyone else agrees.
Otolaryngology explains it quite simply but that each side of our body develops independently of the other in the womb, so no one is completely symmetrical, it's impossible. It's harder to see 1-2mm differences in limbs, so where it is often noticeable is in the eyes, breasts and ears. Ears can be hidden by hair/ hairstyle, breasts under clothing but in the eyes, it's obvious. Tiny mm differences are very noticeable.
Knowing this now, even though you didn't notice it before, if you look closely at any face, even the most symmetrical people have 1 eye slightly higher, lower, closer to the nose ect. and the eyes itself are asymmetrical of each other.
