thighs
What is the best exercise for both inner and outer thighs? I read in the post "inner thigh" that walking lunges and plie squats were good. But, I was wondering about those abductor machines that work both inner and outer, are they not as effective as walking lunges or plie squats?

Those inner outter thigh machines are good for maybe few reasons, for conditioning and toning, you dont' get big from machines because they lack discipline,
Anyhow, Squats are a good overall leg builder, Lunges are good too but not a power exercise, more of a stretching movement I think,
Just use some variety of exercises and put your butt into it,

another question
The last thing I want to do is make my ad/abd any bigger. Should I avoid the abd/add machine completely, or just do really high reps on it with a light weight to just condition them? See I still feel like I'm making them stand out even when working them with high repetitions, but don't want to lose any strength or tone in that area.

leg press
try leg presses with a wide foot placement...it will hit your inner thighs I did 4 sets of 20 yesterday wide placement and my inner thighs are SCREAMING today! Do 4x20 wide then 4x20 close placement..you'll think your legs are made of rubber when you get up!

GOOOO COCKS!!!!!
When squatting with a shoulder-width stance, point your toes outward slightly. When I do this, whether going lighter with reps or heavier, it always gives me a good inner thigh burn. Also, I've gone through spells where I've lifted pretty heavy but lately have wanted to lean my legs out some -- walking lunges with weights work wonders. I've only been doing them a month & can tell a big difference in the tightness of my legs.

walking lunges? are u kidding me?
thats too easy, that won't build muscle,
maybe it will "TIGHEN" your leg

I dunno I find lunges 1000 times more brutal than squats. I mean it is essentially a squat on one leg. JMO.

GOOOO COCKS!!!!!
I'm in pretty good shape & I certainly don't find walking lunges easy. I didn't mean completely weight free, in any event. I warm up once around a track with body weight lunges & then progress by holding dumbells or an easy curl bar with weights added.
