How do you guys eat so much?

Eating 200-300 cals over maintenance is easy but now I wanna eat 1200-1400 cals over maintenance for a month but I feel bloated really fast. I always have to eat food made at home so KFC/McD is not an option. How do I make eating more interesting?

Slowly increase the amount of calories so your body gets used to it. Don't go from 2,300 calories to 3,000. At least for someone that hasn't bulked properly before I wouldn't recommend doing that. Increase slowly by adding 200 or 300 calories a week until you hit 3,000. I've always had a crazy appetite, so I've never had a problem switching from cutting calories to bulking calories.

As far as what foods to eat, peanut butter really helps me hit my daily calorie intake. Otherwise drinking milk with each meal will help as well.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

I'm with Forzas, but peanut butter is also a great way to add calories. 2 tbsp of Jif smooth peanut butter is approximately 190 calories.

yes peanut butter can be good, and any type of nuts or trail mix is good for snacking between meals adding callories without getting full, allso olive oil is over 100 cal per tbsp so if i cook rice or something il use a bit and sometimes i add a tbs of olive oil in a shake as well i like to add oatmeal to shakes too. Im not really sure why you would want to eat that much over maitnence though, are you trying to get fat?

Add more oil and fat based things to the food.
2 avocados and some extra olive oil with what you eat and your calories should be alot higher.

Don't be afraid to liquefy some of your diet. Each morning I make a very high calorie weight gainer shake and it has really been helping me out. Some mornings it can be tough to guzzle down. Maybe start off by cutting this one in half.

2 cups whole milk (300 cals)
    2 scoops whey (280 cals)
    2 cups oats (600 cals)
4 tbps natural peanut butter (420 cals)
    1600 cals

The rest of the day I get some meats, veggies, and fruits.
Be kind; everyone is in the midst of a struggle.

Mix Peanut butter or greek yogurt in your shakes and add some olive oil. It is like 170 cals for tbsp. It adds up quick. Also Eat your oats raw so you can consume more oats and it won't be as filling

    Smile thank you

Thank you so much guys, cant express how much this has helped. I use a shake with 1000 calories per shake but understand how important it is to get calories with real food! Always struggled but this will help massively.

I hate to be the contrarian, but watch out with peanut butter. It's very fatty, which is why it's high in calories. Use it in moderation.

However, at your age, eating a 1000+ surplus is perfectly fine. Just be sure to monitor your progress so your bulk doesn't get out of control.
