So i am fairly new to lifting. i never did in highschool. graduated at 6' 128lbs. it took me three years, but i got into the marine corps. i worked out some before i went but not much. now that i am done with that and in school and about to be in the fleet i want to start working towards my goals but idk if they are realistic. i gained a bunch of fat while i was in bootcamp and combat training. (weird i know but somehow it happened). and i would really like to start working towards looking like all these muscle guys and ****. i dont want to be nasty big but pretty stocky honestly. i guess my few questions are do i even have the body type to grow big like these guys, i.e. muscle length/ build. and if anyone could suggest a routine to put on some serious weight fast. i do not take creatine and have to interest in water muscles. i drink two shakes a day, casein before i sleep. i am taking papaya enzyme for protein absorbtion, and the Yellow Animal Pack for a multi.
thank you for the advice in advance!

Yeah, I agree with the above post. I think you looked better in the so called FAT pic. You were not morbidly obese, so that would have been easy to tighten up. Not sure how you gained fat during training??? Not sure how your day or Marine training is structured but I would look into something such as a 5x5 possibly.
240 with abs...your worst nightmare.

The "fat" picture is the more recent one.
Not sure if thread is a joke or not. You think that's fat?
Your body type is human. What routine to do? Squat, press, and pull 3x a week for 3-5 sets of 5-8 reps and try to increase the weight or repetitions each workout.
Also lol @ "water muscles" from creatine. You've been grossly misinformed I can tell.

No it's not a joke. and when i labeled those pics it was a quick upload and a quick title so i could pick out the two pictures. i do have belly fat that i never dreamt i would have. i lifted for about a year and a half before i left for boot camp. had pretty good results. i have a messed up back, it hurts pretty bad a lot of the time but cant get it fixed so i have to lift through it. its impossible for me to squat and have resorted to hack squats and leg press for my main leg workout.
my goals are 205-210 6-8% bodyfat at 6'. my rotations have been:
day 1: chest and tri's
day 2: back and bi's day
day 3: legs and traps
day 4: shoulders
and i pretty much go in a straight rotation of that. i PT 3 times a week doing crossfit and bodyweight things. some running as well usually 3-5 miles, sometimes more. my plan was to bulk right now and lay back on the cardio until i wanted to cut. i also have heard two conflicting arguments about working abbs. some say you can work them almost daily, and another place i read that you should give them the most rest out of every muscle group.
