Help!! Breast Enlargement size?! Undecided!

Hi Everyone!!

Im Rachel, 22years old! Im booked to have a breast enlargement in Feb next year. After my surgeon consultation we decided i was going to have 560cc overs. But the more i talk to people about it, they more they say they'll look too big for my frame. I want them to look 'fake' and a lot bigger than what they are now, but i dont want to look too big and have that 'Page 3 model' appeal, if that makes any sense?? And because i havent seen other people with 560cc's, i dont know how big they'll look until theyre in!

If starting from nothing they will give you a C and go up from there if you already have some of your own. Sounds nice, good luck.

320cc took my friend from a small 32B for a full 32D. I'm thinking you might be going a bit bigger than DD if you're already at a C and putting in 560cc?

My plan is to get some done this coming year too, I'm a small 32C and want DD seeing as how that's only two sizes bigger and I wear push bras that are about that or more haha! I'm loosing boobage pretty fast now that I'm training a lot harder, and once I cut in June they'll be gone lol :P
I'll be interested to hear what you decide and when it happens to hear how you like them!

why would you want to be bigger than a C? honestly the bigger boobs you get the harder it will be to get proper fitting clothes.

(all of my favorite clothes are made for girls with small boobies... yes. jelly.)

I went from an AA to a C cup with 350cc's. I think a good rule of thumb is 1 cup size per every 200cc, roughly.

560cc are large implants, especially if you are already a C cup. You would end up well over a DD. Maybe try making some rice sizers and wear them for a bit to see whether you are comfortable with the size... Check out this link:

Your doctor should have a set of different sizes that you can "try on". Judging by your avi, 500+ will most definitely put you in the Ds since you already have "some".

So much this. A good Plastic Surgeon is not as worried about the exact volume number. He or she will help you achieve the look you are after based on the structure, size, and location of your actual breasts, along with the over, under, cohesive, saline, contoured, round, high profile....and on an on. A great Doc is as much an artist as a surgeon.

This is coming from a husband who went with his wife to a half dozen PS offices until we found a Doc that explained the what, how, when and why to us as my wife had mastectomies and wanted natural looking breasts again.

I will be captain obvious here...this is more than just about looks. You also need to consider how you want them to "feel" to you and your mate. If you have low BF and go over with saline high profile, you need to be prepared for them to not feel like a breast. If you maintain a reasonable amount of BF it may not be as big a deal. My wife has always been thin and the surg took the last bit of bodyfat, so the saline felt hard, like a silcone shell filled with water. Shocking that it would feel exactly as it is! Neither of us liked it. She went in a few years later and had the saline replaced with cohesive gel and they feel very similar to breast tissue.

We still laugh and tell stories about the office that was completely 80's porn shop style! Every woman in there was falling out of their top...big hair...chewing gum...country music playing! Doc walks in and first impressions are realized! Bad combover, zip up ankle high loafers, bedside manner of a sly fox, and not one natural looking breast was seen that day! We needed a good laugh at that point in our journey ... and they provided in spades!

This may be a health oriented forum, although this thread was appropriately made in the miscellaneous section of the board where we can discuss breast augmentation size and choices preferably without someone coming in and saying that their choice is wrong or trying to persuade the person into making a different choice. You don't see me going into the fat loss section spouting different views on cardio and how bad it could be and trying to tell the original poster that their choice is not the best one.

300cc may have brought you up 2 cup sizes. How does your chest width compare to the OP's? Will the base width of her implants be different than yours? Because that makes a big difference in volume. What was the profile of your implants? High? Mid? Tear drop? How does her frame look compared to yours? What was your original cup size? Have you had children? Has the OP?

My point is that the original question was regarding size and what kind of look the OP is going for. Where did the OP say she was getting saline implants?

The subject was size. I did not see a discussion regarding what kind (saline or cohesive gel), placement (over, under) or profile. So although it could be helpful for someone considering breast implants, a better video would have been one showing the differences between sizes in both saline and cohesive gel along with different profiles.

We didn't have to go through so many, but when we found the right surgeon we knew it. I am very confident that he can achieve what I'm looking for. Which by the way, is going to be 610cc high profile cohesive gels.

I would book another appointment with your PS and try on some more sizes just so that you know you are happy with the size. Try on some that are smaller... you will know straight away whether they are too small for what you are after.

As mentioned the shape and style of the implant does affect the overall look. PS's often have particular brands and styles that they work with. Round implants have a full upper pole. If they are placed under the muscle that does help to flatten the top of the implant so that it isn't as obvious. Anatomical/teardrop implant are sloped at the top so give a more natural chest slope while still retaining some fullness.



Ultimately it depends on what look you are after. Some women want a more obvious look and other's want to look more natural. If you know what brand and style the PS is suggesting you can look up the dimensions of the implants and that will give you an idea of how much projection and width you'll add on top of your natural boobs, that may help your decision!

Rscottpt, assuming you like pictures of the other work your surgeon has done, you just have to trust that he knows what he's doing to get you to the end result you requested. I'm a bit shorter than you and have 625 cc's on both sides and don't feel like a porn star (thinking about getting them redone primarily to change the location to a less natural one so that may change...LOL). Granted, I started out at less than an A cup, but I am a couple of inches shorter than you with a short torso and relatively narrow hips so proportionally that could even things out a little bit.

I don't run, so I don't have a real opinion on whether there are semi-comfortable solutions for endurance activities like that. Everyone is different, but mine are under the muscle and while there was definitely some recovery time involved, the only lift that has been majorly effected is flat BB bench for me. That seems to be somewhat common with women I've spoken with who have a large volume under the muscle. However, by "major" I don't mean I can't do flat bb bench. 3 years after surgery I'm still working to get that lift back up to where it was (pre-surgery, 155 was my working weight and now it's 125) but knowing how it felt to increase the lift through this point, getting back there doesn't seem like an impossibility (and no, there hasn't been any shifting of the implant at this point). That may change once I get them redone, of course...it's just a limitation risk you've got to weigh out for yourself.

Considering a lot of women do end up going larger later if they are conservative with their first surgery, I'm betting you'll be very happy with your surgeon's idea of what you'll need to achieve the look you want if you'll just go for it.

@Amanda76 - A lot of other women I have spoken to have said very similar regarding wanting to go bigger with a 2nd op. I think Im going to stick to the size the surgeon has suggested for me, becuase although im a B/C cup at the moment, it flutuates due to weight loss/gain when im leaning up etc. So I think a bigger implant will be better for when i go into lean mode! 4 weeks 3 days....... So excited!!
