I am having a hard time getting my calories on a low carb diet.

I am having a hard time even reaching 1200 calories. I have never had this problem before. I am doing a low carb diet and I am unsure how to fill up. What are some non carb foods with high calories or what can I do to increase my calories with out eating tons of carbs? Thanks you.

Easiest way to increase calories on a low carb diet is to increase fat intake.

If I cook a burger would that be good? Should I cook 1 or 2? No bun just lettuce and cheese and ketchup.

Sure. While you're at it, plop on some mayo, bacon, avocado slices to get the fat content up. Might want to watch it on the ketchup if you're trying for super low carbs.

If you're having trouble meeting even concentration camp calories (1200 wtf!), there's absolutely no reason to be concerned w/ restricting carbs. You need more cals period -- of any kind.

    a. Why aren't you directing this in the Nutrition forum? You'd get more precise info.
    b. 'bare minimum' for a comatose 12-year old.
    c. Nut butters, oils, other high-density foods.

    Exactly.

Unless there's some underlying medical reason, there's no reason to be so restrictive if you can't even meet a basic minimum standard of health. That "carb target" isn't helping you w/ a single thing.

    Lmao. Truth.

OP - It's very doubtful that (read: nearly impossible) 1200/day is a healthy level for you to cut at. Go to the nutrition section, learn how to calculate TDEE and figure out where to go from there. Diabetes came into it as I was speculating on why you might be limiting carbs.
