I'm northern Cali.
I'm in the dep program. Took me 2 years to get into the navy. During those two year's i've been training. Beach runs, Swimming. Strength. MMA. Water polo drills. All that goodness. On the daily i run in the morning. Workout, Rest. Eat. Rest. Swim for hours and then workout again. Sin'ce it is winter i have not let up on my running either. All my clothes are hanging in a shower right now from all this recent rain and me running in it. Doing sprints and what not.
My buddy is in San Diego right now though. He's learning tagalog.
and regarding how serious am i?
I'm serious to the point where this is my life.
I have no social life. It's wake up. Exercise. Eat. Exercise. Eat Exec rices and sleep.
Been doing that for 2 years, but when i was in high school my eat and rest was the school day.
I still woke up duiring school days at 5 am to do my running and workouts.
I reek of chlorine rain and sweat. No joke.
what was your job in the navy?NGU

Ha thats a start. I had a few beers tonigh(lightweight) so Im kinda bleh. But Ill drop everything I can on you later. Also; subbd.
Getting thru buds is like the olympics. You gotta give up your life and devote your excistance to training.
edit

Looks like your covering everything nicely. I would say in order of importance SWIMMING>RUNNING>CROSS TRAINING/BODYWEIGHT MOVEMENTS>STRENGTH. Do you do kettle bell stuff? If your gonna lift I would stick to the compound movements, dont spend alot of time benching. Deadlift is good, squat your azz off. Also saw your PST score, nice swim time best I ever got was like low 10's haha

lol
yeah. i do mostly swimming and running mostly now. Then comes calisthenics and then strength.
My running needs more work though, it's stuck in the low 9's
im trying to break into 8.
My swim i'm trying to break into 7.
Today
1030 100 Pullups 10x10, 200 Push 20x10
1/4 mile intervals light jog. after pull and push.
1700 Back strength routine high rep strength for explosive power. Then a 500 yard medley with about 500 yards worth of fin work afterwards. Let my legs soak in the the hot tub to ease the joints from the week of running and work while i got tips on how to train better and faster and what to expect from an Army Special Forces Ranger who went through Recon school, dive school and the whole 9 yards... he works side by side with SEALs. Gave me some good tips.. one that i learned last time from him was pre exhaustion. Works like a charm.NGU

0900 Got PTd by the SEAL Mentor. Running Intervals and shoulder work. Lots of stretching and endurance exercises. It was wet, so all of us had to get really down and dirty i left with a brown shirt(it was white)
After i went swimming we did out usual 500 warmup and then we did 50 yard rescue swim, some stroke drills and a 50 heads up sprint with 1 minute tread holding our fins above the water.NGU

I might not be in the right position to tell you this but make sure you do a lot of lower back stretching/recovery after swimming head up. I used to play water-polo and my coach always said that a lot of the older players get lower back problems from swimming head up because your body isn't horizontal but rather tilted which puts pressure on your lower back.
