Just wondering if anyone out there knows of any IFBb Figure or Bikini Pros out there that don't have implants. I haven't come across any yet but my exposure to the number of pros out there is limited.

I think it was Dave Palumbo that said that it's pretty simple really: If you're a woman and you want to compete, you're going to have to get a boob job. If you are a man and you want to compete, you're going to have to get gyno surgery.

Bikini babes /= low body fat
Bikini babes = average body fat
Honestly, figure girls could be successful both with or without. A size B to C cup is perfect; remember you still want to see some pectoral development and not two large balloons.
I saw a bikini chick with obviously fake DD+ and it just did not look right on a waifey little girl...Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

Check out this thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...7891473&page=1 It was from 2010, but lists Arnold and Olympia competitors who won without implants (whether they have them now, I don't know...I know Jen Hendershott never got them). If it feels more "you" not to have them, don't get them.

I honestly wonder the same thing!
I adore Dana Linn Bailey, she is amazing and I give her all the props in the world for sticking it out boobless. She is gorgeous!
It seems to be the thing to do... get a boob job.
I think in Bikini it's even more common whether you're pro or not, because Bikini is more highly based on looks vs. muscle where as Figure you're getting more into the defined muscles including the chest muscles, you're probably more likely to find a well known Figure competitor without fake boobs vs. a Bikini Competitor... if you find one at all on today's stage.
I am going to enter for bikini in June, but at the level I'm entering in most girls haven't gotten fake boobs yet... thank goodness!! Then I'll be bulking and going for Figure later in the year with another beginner group of girls so most of them won't have them either. I feel like most people get them once they know they have a chance to do good and possibly go Pro.
Are you saying that because you have to have low body fat to compete in [ANY category] and in Bikini boobs are a plus, so Competing=Low Bady Fat=No Boobs=Need Fake Boobs=Do well on stage for Bikni? Lol█ ♥ █ ***Canadian Crew***

I have no desire whatsoever to get them. I love my body the way it is, with or with out boobs. I was just wondering if it was even possible for a woman without implants to get a pro card! So glad to find out it is.

I don't see fake boobs as important in Figure, although I can't find any high level Figure athlete without them. But you definitely need them for Bikini, which is (no offense to anyone) a T & A show.

I don't really understand why implants would even be allowed. You are being judged on sculpting your body but then you're putting something inside your body that changes the shape? To me that just makes the sport into something like Pro Wrestling, theatrics rather than real competition. I mean, why not get glut implants or pec implants? I mean, wouldn't that be seen as cheating? How are implants any different.
The size of natural breasts is make out of fat. There is weight and natural curve to the body. There is no natural shape of silicone and it just looks so bizarre on someone who has toned their body not to have fat. How can you really judge pectoral muscles if there is something unnatural covering them? Look at the art of Frank Frazetta's warrior women. There is a natural curve. There is also a little more weight. These boobs just stand out there and they don't even have a natural shape to them. Silicone, especially on body builders, is just "bad art". It's not real if you lie on your back and your boobs stand straight up.
Muscular women don't look like men because they have different bone structure.
I can't take female bodybuilding or sculpting seriously as a sport if implants are allowed. It's just a joke. It's just a show for people who really don't appreciate the natural shape of the human body.

Because you can't grow your bewbs with hard work and exercise like you would your pecs or glutes.
