    Squatting Pain

A few weeks ago, I strained my left adductor (groin muscle) while squatting. Only been squatting 1 month at the time, and had gone from 105 to 160. After I tweaked the groin, I took some time off from squats, deloaded, and worked my way back up. Today, got back to 160 and now I have the same strain in my groin adductor.

I had stretched and warmed up so idk why this keeps happening. I get that my adductors are weak compared to my quads, hamstrings, etc. So is this just a matter of strength?

You got a real wide stance? I had an overly wide stance at first too, groin took a beating because of it.
We don't rise to the occasion, we fall to our level of training.

I do low bar squat so the stance is just wide enough to allow my torso to get down so that I can hit parallel.
