Browne Says He Can Beat “Bigfoot” 10 of 10 Times | UFC NEWS

http://www.bjpenn.com/browne-says-he...imes-ufc-news/
Damn straight. He has a big bullseye on the back of his head, or on the front of it, it don’t matter. He’s the only man that can stand there and say that, you know, he beat me. I don’t know if he can even say that because really I beat myself. I want that fight back. Today’s really the first time I’ve been vocal about it and this is the first time I’ve really been in the media about it, but, I definitely want that fight back. Whoever I have to go through if it’s to fight him again or to somebody that beats him, hey I’m game… [If we fight 10 times] I whoop his ass.”

Yes Browne did injure his leg(but it did not require surgery) which made him less mobile.. it wasn't like Big Foot was kicking Browne's leg to cause the stoppage the stoppage was from strikes. Browne was less mobile because of an injury but that injury shouldn't have kept him from punching Silva back.
Anyone interested in seeing a rematch? I'm not.... but if you are why? who do you think will win if there is a rematch in the future?

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in the future , but I don't think it makes sense right now. I think Browne would take it.

I have no interest in a rematch since that leg injury had nothing to due with Browne's ability to block punches and punch back.. It seems that Browne is being a sore loser and can't take the loss.

All I Need Is My Belt..
Browne is overrated. He's big with power but he's not a great striker, wrestler, or grappler. He's one of the remaining big/tough brawlers in the HW division. He talks about his leg but I would have loved to have seen what would have happened if he didn't wrap his god damn arms around the top of the cage to stop the Bigfoots TD. He would have been ****ed on his back.

I'd like to see this fight happen again...but I hate when fighters say crap like this. If you lost, you lost...It sucks, but deal with it.

If they had fought to a close decision, and his injury clearly had an impact then he would have a point. But he got KTFO in the first round lol, so he should just shut up.

Not to mention he was dancing around being cocky. Clearly disregarding big foot. Has no one but himself to blame and now he's coming across as a sore loser.

He fought and lost like a fool.
He wants to fight Bigfoot or someone who beat Bigfoot? Let him fight Cormier.

I only wanted to reply to the following sub topic that I've seen in various times during this thread:
[Travis Browne's leg had nothing to do with his ability to block]
I disagree.

Honestly surprised at the people saying he would have lost regardless, I thought it was obvious when he tweaked his knee.
Just because he didn't need surgery doesn't mean it wasn't a bad injury.
His mobility deteriorated completely, I knew the fight was over because he couldn't dodge punches or commit to any. How can you say it didn't affect his ability to dodge/punch? That is ridiculous.
Yes he's acting like a b!tch about it, but you can't ignore the fact he was crippled by an unlucky tweak of the knee.

Bigfoot is better than Browne.

I'd imagine a leg injury would make it a lot more difficult to effectively punch a giant.

LMAO at the injury not affecting him. OP did you ever stop and think when he popped his knee he went into panic mode and thought "HOLY ****ING **** I THINK I BLEW OUT MY ACL OMG OHSHI-" thus hampering his ability to fight properly? It's not like Big Foot was lighting him up standing before he got injured. As for the rematch sure why not, just not a main event though. Theres not much good HW match ups anymore anyways.
her: do you want a blowjob?
me: no thanks i'm not really in the mood maybe later
her: you sure? because i dont really have anything to do.
me: nah i'm good
her: i mean if it's because i use too much teeth i can call up my friend to give you one. i heard she gives great bjs.
me: no really i don't want a bj right now
her: well if you want one i'll just be in the kitchen.

If Browne was hurt so badly he should have dropped down and have the ref step in.. just like Silva Vs. Cote.. Cote blew out his knee and dropped to the ground.
Browne didn't even need surgery, his knee wasn't blown out it was a hamstring pull(something like that, I know it was the hamstring, and that he didn't need surgery), yes that should limit his mobility but I never knew a hamstring injury can affect someones ability to bring their fists up and block a punch.
I could see Browne may have a hard time planting because of the injury but if it was so bad he should have dropped to the floor ...
making excuses saying he beat himself and can beat Silva 10 times out of 10 is lame.. coming from a guy who got TKO'd from punches to the face. If Silva kicked him in the leg and caused a TKO through an injury I could see a reason why he would want a rematch but it didn't happen that way.
If i remember correctly, during the fight it looked like Browne stepped wrong ,he tightened up, and starting to limp a little during the fight. Browne got stuck in a corner, he wasn't able to move out of the corner, Silva smelled blood and started causing some damage the ref eventually stepped in.

He continued to fight, but it was obvious he was quite seriously hurt, kudos to him for having the balls/stupidity. Also is an injury not legit any more unless you get surgery?
I'm pretty sure he tried switching stances and realised he was screwed either way.
NO one is disputing his sh!tty attitude post fight, but to think that injury didn't effect his performance is borderline retarded.

It was unlucky, but maybe that's what he gets for trying to jump around like he's f*cking Van Damme...

If you refer to a fighter who you've never met in real life as "my boy" as though their performance somehow reflects well on you for simply being a fan, you're a lame ass.
