Eat either. Phytic acid is not a major issue. Whole grain bread is a good source of fibre in my opinion, and fibre is vital.
Brown rice is also a good source of fiber. At any rate, I do eat both. When whole grains are a viable option I generally choose them (my burrito bowl tonight for instance) but if I'm eating sushi I'm having white rice. Gonna bow out of this discussion, thanks for the debate x-ray.
