So I'm heading out of town in a few moments for some USMC Birthday related festivities. Since I'll be away, I'm just going ahead and posting this early.
Happy Birthday brothers/sisters. Here's to 237 years. OOH-RAH!

[QUOTE=eomrat;976953213]First - Your posts are supposed to end with "Carry on". Second - I meant to emphasize "Glorious". (Of course, you knew that)
That's a great pic

SP1966.....good vids to watch with my morning mud.
The Silent Drill Team is quite impressive as always.
The boot camp vid brings back some vivid memories....and some terrifying ones for an 18 years old I might add.
That's MCRD San Diego with the quite famous yellow footprints.
My young, dumb ass was standing on a pair of those muthers on 9/1/66.
I guess I really was that young at one time.
acrawlingchaos.....their default combat attire is certainly more impressive than it was in my era during the Holocene Epoch.
If I get brave enough I might post one of my pics for a stark comparison.
Thanks to those that chimed in.

Watching those bootcamp videos always brings a smile to my face!! I took a week or two to adjust, but after that it was actually a lot of fun, very challenging, yet I can honestly say I enjoyed it! The other thing about those bootcamp videos that brings about a chuckle is reading the comments from the limp wrist, liberal weenies talking crap, they would wet their panties if they found themselves there!!
I'm a sad little man
