Knocking my self out of Keto not sure why.

I keep knocking myself out of ketosis.

I'am currently 6'5 and eat 2500 calories a day with a 27% body fat at 293 pounds. I workout doing intensity on day 27. I have been stuck in the 290's for three weeks, I think it has been going down but it has been so slow. I started at 317 and when i did start it dropped like crazy now its been really slow

I was in keto for sure after insainty and then going to a another cardio session on my school campus. Pissed on the keto stips said so.

4 Extra large eggs and 5 bacon strips. Meal one

3 Lettuce wrap with ground turkey\beef. with a(TON)finely shredded cheddar cheese. with taco sauce(less then a gram per tablespoon). Meal two

I snack on beef jerky and pickles Thru out the day and just on pickles at night. They have no calories and less then 1 gram a carb per serving.

I take a protein shake just after my workout.

Is the cheese killing me? it has 1\3 a cup with 110 calories and 1 gram per 1\3 a cup.
I dont get to eat thru out the day. I'm in college and go to work after. So i eat in the morning and then around either before work 6:30 or after at 1030. I work at ups. Fairly physical job.

Is it the cheese that is killing me? Am I eating too much protein? Is it being converted to carbs? I would like to eat celery with peanut butter but afraid i would rack up the carbs too quick. Also I hear that the limit is 20g. Any guidance or advice is much appreciated.

If you're well hydrated, the keto stix will give a false negative.

I do keep a gallon of water by my side most of the day. How sensitive are they to over saturation?

Very. They're not all that reliable anyway.

How long have you been eating 2500 cals?
If it is important to you, you will find a way.
If it's not, you will find an excuse.

^ yep, very unreliable with good hydration.

99%, you're just getting false negs for all the water intake. Use your stix money for more tasty food and don't sweat it

If you really "need" to see the purple stix, tomorrow upon waking, don't drink anything for a couple hours (slightly dehydrating yourself) and try one. Please don't do this regularly though, hydration is important.

Your body is using the ketones for energy. It won't excrete them through your urine anymore

You may want to try testing first thing in the morning before you start hydrating... However, I agree with everyone else.
