Calling out HighFivan. Wore the shortest shorts I own to the gym today. Sliders were peeking out underneath, especially while I was squatting. Bishes were definitely 'mirin. No one would get near me or take a pic-a-roo, so everyone will have to wait until I take a PR video either this Friday, or my max out next week. You gotta quit being so self conscious about dem legs!

Grunted/Yelled hella loud when I got that 395x1. My sarcastic obnoxious noises are becoming not so sarcastic anymore... and much more obnoxious. Did shoulders, so it was a mandatory tank top day. Wore regular shorts because I can't burn out the silkies right off the bat.
Arian11 will vid the maxes. I don't have a front facing camera on my poverty iPhone 3gs so it's difficult to take a vid unless someone is there to take it. Can't just ask a rando to video me moving my ass around... That's just weird.

Thanks a lot. I'm anxious to break through the 335x5 I set months ago, especially since the reps will actually count. They were high squat-mornings. Not as high as xRequiems high bar wide stance, quarter squats though.

Wendler's 1RM max calculator only works if you have a beard. My best squat 5RM is 395 which equates to 461. Wouldn't you know, I hit 463 in competition.

yeah the 5/3/1 1rm estimator looks high but not...unreasonably high...if that makes sense.
Oh I wanted to ask since I don't have justins TM book (i'll pick it up eventually) - are there any deloads programmed into the routine? if so, when?
I'll have to reread it, but it's set up to be 100% personalized. TM is an idea, you adapt it to suit you best. Even if I wasn't maxing, I'd be taking this week off to rest and recoup anyway. I'll keep it at 6 weeks, 1 light week, 6 weeks... and see how that goes.

I was feeling pretty good so I wanted to keep up the gains and stimulate my legs pretty decently. Nothing to hard, and I'll be doing a super simple R-Day on Wednesday, I just really wanted to get under the bar.

Yup, kept it simple. 3 sets of everything instead of 5, but I did increase the weights as I would have done on any other week. FeelsGoodman.jpg Now I'm just going to eat and sleep all week. No alcohol, no late night studying, no missing meals. Haven't shaved in a while as per Arian11's report of Wendler's equation only working if you have a beard, I'm going to do this right. I'm already amped about Saturday.
