Looks like they use American Apparel blanks now. Heard they previously used bottom of the barrel blanks.

They've been giving buyers the option of different brands for some shirts for a while now. I have a few of their shirts and they're all on AA or Gildan because that's what I selected.

To be honest, I'm not really impressed by the AA ones. The cut is a bit odd and very small. XXL in the AA fits more like an XL Gildan, and bunches up weird in my armpits.

Yep, I think American Apparel shirts run small in general. I do like them, though.

I have an Elite bolt together bench in my cart right now. I tried to add a cheap $10 shirt to get the 10% off. With just the bench my shipping is $25. When I add the shirt my cheapest shipping option is $53.

I just tried it and you're right. Hopefully it's just a glitch in their system. Perhaps call and explain the error so they can fix it or give you the correct discount via phone. Let us know how it goes.
