Tomorrow, Nov 10 1975 On the Big Lake they call gitche gume
Lake Superior took the 700 ft + Freighter the Edmund Fitzgerald and her 29 Crew members to their eternal resting place, made more famous by the Canadian Gordon Lightfoots Ballad, a Rogue Like Hurricane on the Great lake with estimates of 35 ft Waves & upwards of 80 MPH Winds doomed the Crew, I have been to Whitefish Bay and swam in Lake Superior in the U.P., {not recommended for sane individuals}, aside from the Beauty surrounding Superior, it is notorious for it`s reputation this time of year, nevertheless it`s the Ov 35 Crew and most remember from the Song if nothing else, But the Actual Bell will be rung 29 times Tomorrow, for the Crew, God Rest their Souls--------------------I am a day Early and I am over 35 SORRY :}

I never go along with the crowd, never have, I am honest, not arrogant and try not to be a fool, I appreciate life and all that God has given me, this opportunity "LIFE", it`s my responsibility to experience as much as I can while here, ETERNITY is a long time and my eternity is sealed, my life here is yet to be determined or fulfilled

A friend of mine was in the Coast Guard (in training) up that way and his ship got the rescue call.... got to the site and saw nothin'. He said it was the worst storm he had been out in.
If it wasn't for Lightfoot, most of us would have never known about the event.
