    455 lb x 3 Squat RAW 20 years old 195 lbs

    Let me know what you think! I'm on the road to a 500 lb squat max by early 2013. Last year my max was 465 lbs which you can see on my youtube page. Natural bodybuilder my contest weight this summer was 165 lbs.

    great job dude. I did 405 x 8 the week before my 465 max last december. Also about 4 weeks ago i did 405 x 9 so i would and then 3 weeks ago 425x4 then 2 weeks ago 435x3 last week 445x3 and then today 455x3. so i say slowly creep up cuz that much weight on your back feels a bit weird at first. Super close tho man forsure you can hit it! And idk about the shoes i honestly dont think they add any more than 5-10 lbs on a lift its more of a feeling and mental thing. They are supposed to help drive through your heels but its not a huge difference imo.

    Good squatting. You definitely have 500 now, first time I hit 495 was soon after squatting 455x3 (with more difficulty than you had).
