    715 bench last night

    Preparing for last meet of the year - SPF in Loganville, Ga. on 12-8-12. This is a push / pull, or bench only. Haven't decided on deadlifting yet. I don't want to take a chance on messing up my bench for this meet. As many of you know I have hit over 700 a few times in the gym but 665 is my best meet bench (shirted).

    Training has been going good. Went 635, 675, 710 and 715 last night VERY easy (relatively speaking)lol. I plan on going up 10 pounds a week until meet time. Hopefully my opener will reset the all time Super Heavyweight bench over 50 in any federation. Currently is 715 by the late Tom Manno.

    Something over 715 is my primary goal for this meet, but I would love to get somewhere near 740-750!

    No vids from last night. As usual I would rather post the meet lifts to aleviate any questions about legitimacy.....

    I would doubt that more than a handful of people in the world think they will ever bench 700 pounds, if many do they are dilusional.

    Thanks for the suport guys! Not everybody understands the goals we set at times...

    Funny, last night I felt like I could go another session. I got home and it took me til 1am to settle down, and then I slept like a baby for 3 HOURS, and jacked back up & awake. I guess i hit it harder than I thought. It's sort of a backlash of energy after that kind of session. Now, I'm dead tired. LOL
