Lower Back Pain, Help
I train legs twice a week. I try to lift heavy but my max for squats is only 185 lbs and my max for dead lifts is 275 lbs. I usually can't go heavier because I feel strain on my lower back. The following days my back is sore rather than my legs. I don't use a belt when training. I also can't work on my core much because I get a burning sensation in my lower back. What can be done to improve my back and strengthen in my legs and core? I appreciate the help.

Well squats and deadlifts also put strain on your lower back. Are you sure your form is really good? I would make sure your form is perfect especially with heavy lifts involving your back.

Find exercises to train your core that don't bother your back. Once you strengthen your core, your lower back discomfort will more than likely go away, and you will see gains in your squats and deads.

Check your form, a proper squat and deadlift shouldn't cause any pain in your lower back there will be some stiffness sometimes but shouldn't cause pain. I'd go back to really focus on your form, maybe take a few videos to critic lighten the weight and try to work on form.
Also as someone mentioned strengthen your lower back in other ways as well as your core will help you maintain proper posture in both lifts.
