Well I had a competition last weekend (men's physique), and I decided to do this other one that's 1.5 weeks from now. I'm currently holding a fair bit of water, but i can drop that very easily before the competition with water manipulation and natural diuretics, so not worried about that. Any bodyfat guesstimates? Reps for good responses!
And for sh!ts and gigs, here are some shots from my competition on Oct. 27th:

You've got a good deep 6 pack at rest so I'd say 10%. The pics are a bit washed out so you may be as low as 9% (serratus really start popping at 10% and under IMO, and you've got good serrratus). Water on the day can make a lot of difference and wash you out. Anyway, you've got a great physique and going by the aesthetics and mass of the back pose I'd have called you the winner, although the guy to your right might shade you for definition. You deserved a place at least!

I appreciate and respect your response, but I personally believe i am lower than 11-12%. I think it's the water throwing it off, i'm actually currently leaner than i was in that competition. I just always hold 5-6lbs of water that blurs my lines. For reference, here was a photo from the night before the competition once i got most of the water out:
thanks man
Wow that is really interesting, i always hear everyone complain that people always assume they are leaner than they really are
Thank you sir
Yea man, all 3 of those guys supposedly beat me. It was ridiculous. The guy to my right i could see potentially beating me since he was a bit leaner than myself (albeit also probably 20-25lbs smaller than me as well), but the other two... felt like a slap in the face. Thanks though!
Thank you sir
I appreciate it man, placing poorly at that competition is probably half the reason i'm doing this next one. I want to start the off-season on a good note. That ish left a bad taste in my mouth.

you looked good, i would have placed you and like your look a lot BUT i have had clients in MP...last year the judging was small, this year the judging was small at the same show and at other shows it's bigger and more muscular. very frustrating! just pick standards already npc!!!

Thank you! Yes it is SO frustrating! The show the weekend prior I placed 2nd in what was a close decision between me and 1st. At this show the guy who barely beat me the weekend before placed 2nd... the guy i beat the weekend before placed 3rd... and 4th and 5th place didn't even really have visible abs. Very frustrating. I'm hoping since this next show is a huge one (eastern USA's) they'll be hopefully leaning slightly towards the bigger look. I also expect to be a bit leaner/drier, so hopefully that'll help my case. Otherwise i might just make the switch over to bodybuilding come spring time and call it a day.
