Diet pop make you guys HUNGRY??

I recently started drinking diet pop...a&w is like new love but since starting to drink it ive had 2 big binges and every day im starving...ive reversed dieted to almost my maintance level and its been crazy hard this week to avoid over eating. Before the pop i had no real issues sticking to it but recently wow im crazy hungry lol. In short im going to give it up next week because its killing me lol anyone else have this or am i mind fukin myself?

i think its the empty sweet taste that is causing it, like i said ive been cutting for 7 months and havent binged really but this month since drinking diet pop ive had to major 5k and 8k binges that i had no real need for...Really now that im up in cals it really shouldnt be happening its all i can contribute it to lol

I personally never experienced it, but I have heard the claim that it can cause sugar cravings. diet A&W is pretty damn good tbh, but doesnt have caffeine. usually the diet sodas i drink have caffeine which can also curb hunger so maybe either drop the diet soda, or try one with caffeine

thanks mitch...i know i feel its weird to but ive been fat my entire life so maybe its a trigger lol Ill try one with caffeine and see if that helps and yes the a&w is awesome lol

I've heard a few people say it makes them crave sweets. Not me.......luckily.

Live on diet soda, never made me hungry or crave sweets.
