    Slimming down legs?

    I want to get my thighs a little slimmer, my question is when doing squats should I be doing high weight-low reps or low weight- high reps? Thanks for the input

    A lot of us suffer from big legs, there is no easy answer. Do whatever rep range you find that really shrinks your legs.

    It would be backwards to continue working out your legs to slim them down.

    Let's start with some background info:

    1. What are your stats (height, weight, and body fat percentage)?

    2. What is your workout program?

    Are you looking to reduce the body fat around your thighs, or reduce your muscle size?
    Reducing body fat mostly comes down to diet, and there's no way to specifically target your thighs for fat loss - where you lose body fat is determined by genetics.
    If you're looking to reduce your muscle size, you're probably the only guy in this forum with that goal ...but I guess the answer would be to reduce your weight resistance and go more for endurance instead. High volumes of cardio can have a catabolic effect - but the problem is you'll lose muscles in other areas as well.

    I dont think you can suffer from having big legs, I may as well say my shoulders are too wide and round while were at.
