Does anyone know about ISSA personal training certification?

I was wondering if I get the ISSA personal training certification if I can transfer that to my college for college credits?

I dont believe any training certifications will get you college credits sorry.
Obssession is a word lazy people use to describe dedication.

If your not nervous before going to the gym your probably not working out hard enough (my new favorite quote)

I'm currently getting certified with ISSA, I had the same question since I wanted (at the time) to be a physical therapist as well as a PT and thought it would help get some credits out of the way. It won't account for any credits, and as far as I was told, and you can't buy it with financial aid. So I paid 500 out of pocket using the 250 a month payment plan. However, It has loads of information on anatomy, bio-mechanics, nutrition, bodily functions on a cellular level ect ect so It makes my anatomy and physiology classes a breeze since I've basically already 'taken the class'. Not to mention you have a certification under your belt which is a nice bonus if you are going into health. Though 500 bucks is steep if you don't plan on doing anything with it.

    Much luck!

    ISSA Master Trainer

The ISSA is a great way to start. Yes, you do get colledge credits for it varies with school. I got 36 towards my masters in nutritional science. start there it is at your own pace which makes it ideal for beginner trainer, but do got to other schools like NASM it is harder but worth it.
