Red face Post workout sugar while cutting?

I have read in some articles that you can get away with not having simple sugars after your w/o. Should you eliminate simple carbs when you hit a plateau or can you do that from the begining of your cut?
I have just finished a bulk and i'm carrying a lot of bodyfat that i want to get rid of asap

Meal timing is largely irrelevant in terms of body composition. Meeting your daily nutrient requirements and eating at a deficit/surplus (counting cals) is what matters most.

To answer your question: No, you do not have to eat any specific food (or anything at all) prior to, during, or after a workout.
