I can't even remotely fathom how it must feel being 100 lbs lighter, kind of like John Carter on Mars?
I put on a 50 lb backpack, it's hellaciously oppressive. Feel the extra weight in muscle, back, joints. Turns an easy walk-in-the-park ascent into a this-isn't-any-fun-ordeal.
That's awesome progress.

UP on my weigh-in this morning.
FML
I fasted 24 hours yesterday, which is my custom on Thurs. I think the problem is I ate philly steak sammiches for dinner. Sodium galore. Au-jou was beef stock. More sodium galore. Result = 1.5 lb gain from last week's number. I'm going to water-purge today and re-weigh over the weekend. i know cals are spot on, tis the only explanation i can come up with.
damn those philly steaks sandys were good.*LF Chat Crew

sliced roast beef from the Giant Eagle deli. GE is the local supermarket. Cooked on the stove in a bit of olive oil and beef stock. Onions and peppers (green and red) were sauteed in olive oil as well on the next burner over. Kaiser rolls used for bread. Au-joo was beef stock heated to warm. Three sammiches consumed (pretty small kaiser rolls). 1700 cals.

The longer it's in the freezer the more ice that's on it, or in it. It also dehydrates food having it frozen for a long time. If there is any air in with the product the weight is going to change - probably increase. I know with things like shrimp, if I let it thaw it will be like 75% of the weight after it's been in the freezer for any length of time.
When they put the nutritional info it would be for when it's pre-consumer. So thawed or just flash frozen. Once it leaves their point there are variables.
Of course if its something that's individually packaged then it would be labeled as per the contents of the package.
And nutritional info doesn't have to be accurate anyway, it's all just a guess to begin with.1175 @172

I thought they took samples and analysed them.

they do, but our way of analyzing cals is a guess too.

not the best article ever. it's not a study but she's already typed it all out and i don't want to.

- 20% variance allowed for manufacturers
- even if over tolerance, usually not called on it

I knew the prison was the location before I started watching season 3 anyway. It doesn't really matter. I know another future location too from the comics, probably not season 4 but one of them. That season will be epic.

There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?
