When I walk into the gym its a fuking war zone. I don't give a chit if I'm in a deficit or a surplus or if I had a 14 inch pizza 5 days in a row. When I walk in the gym every single person there is a ******* and my enemy. I lay in bed the night before picturing myself exploding with fury in the gym. Then I wake up in the morning, slam my stimulate preworkout, crank my stereo and rage on my way to the gym. When I finally walk into the gym I'm ready to fuking snap.
You train like that vox? Or do you work your 9-5 and then do some pre fabricated pussy all-pro workout while listening to Elton John.
Stop being a pussy and take your chit to the next level.
Don't fuk with my boy Mooretech.

At the beginning of my workouts? Absolutely. Towards the end? Usually not. Not because I don't want to, but because I'm usually pooped by then. Let me say this: I work out until my arms or legs feel like jelly. The last time I did my DB chest flys, my shoulders failed and the weights fell off my arms. When I get back to my car from working out, I have to steady myself and sit for a few before I can drive.
My weights have been progressing steadily in some cases, and not so much in others. I was following All Pro's, which while progressive, isn't the fastest.
When I started AP's, my squats were 60 lbs - not kidding. Today, I can do 8 reps of 145 lbs. Not the greatest, but improvement since August. On the other hand, my bench also started at the same number but has barely doubled. I wasn't even doing DLs until recently, and now I can do a couple of reps of 185 lbs (I was doing SLDLs of 105 lbs when I started a few weeks ago). Even then, my problem isn't my back or my legs, but my grip.
I've fixed the slow progress to some extent: I now do Squats, Bench, and Dead Lifts first, and aim for 4-6 reps. I continue with AP's for the other workouts though, only because it provides me with a structure.
So, TL;DR? I work out as hard as I can, which may not be the same as what someone else can.
Hey man, there's no need to get nasty.

It doesn't help that you're vegan either vox . I have heard a lot of guys who are vegan complain of the same thing...my bro is vegan, tall as chit, star basketball player in HS, but can't seem to really pack on muscle or have the same amount of energy as everyone else. Have only seen a few vegan guys with muscular physiques and that was because I specifically googl'd to see if they existed lol...

Thanks, guys, but I'm not a vegan.
I try to be a lacto-vegetarian (allergic to eggs/poultry) so whey is definitely not out. Maybe I should introduce some seafood into my diet.
But on that note, genuinely curious if the source of protein matters? I mean, as long as I'm hitting my numbers, does it matter where I'm getting them from?

I'm ignorant lol...anyone who doesn't directly consume meat is considered a 'vegan' to me
Seafood most definitely! Isn't meat one of the only places you can get vitamin B-12 anyway?? Have you ever had your blood tested to find out if you're deficient in anything since you have a restricted diet?

Well, as a newbie on my "bulk", I am pretty sure half of that is fat.
Hit my protein #s, but does it really matter where you're getting it from?
Yup, full physical every year. Other than a mild Vitamin D deficiency, I'm good. I take multivitamins and Fish/Flax/Borage oils daily.

Yeah, built it -- would you like a copy?
I use it to track everything on a daily basis, trend and chart to see correlations on my weight/muscle growth with everything I consume etc. My doctor loves it because it gives her a lot of insight into what's going on with my body, too (when I had low thyroid levels, she had me take the test at 3 other times -- at below maintenance, at maintenance, and above maintenance -- just to make sure).
I tend to be OCD about most things.

Given enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both, and surpass the result.
