call the cops. i used to be those guys when i was 20 years old. after my.neighbors called the cops on us 3-4 times we got a letter from our landlord agency. they said one more call and we were evicted.

The first couple days I chalked it up to moving into a new place and having a party but yeah... this isn't going to end well.

I live in an apartment and these fuking punks just moved in a week ago and every night at 1am.. 2am..4am these fuking *******s are out on the balcony laughing.. joking around.. and waking me up when I have to work in the morning. You have a right to be able to sleep in your apartment. They aren't "causing a disturbance" because they are in their own residence. First step would be tell your building manager, or phone police. Pretty much everywhere has a municipal bylaw that covers noise complaints, and most buildings will have it in their contract too. If it continues, then they can be looking at a criminal charge for mischief by failing to allow lawful enjoyment of your property.

We have cause disturbance and disturb the peace, but it's basically a preventative arrest in most cases. Arrest them and release them later when they chill out.

I'm hoping some of the other tenants complain as well. There is 5 people that are closer to the noise than I am, some of them have young children.

I was thinking about taping a piece of paper to the entrance door and exit saying "303 is waking everyone up"... hopefully get everyone in the apartment to turn against them lol

99.9% of young people are just morons and might not realize. 80% are considerate and might tone it down if someone points it out to them.
