The Xbox was actually an awesome, if noisy, DLNA streamer. Both the X-box and the server were connected wirelessly, yet they always connected just fine, and fast, and if the media was a compatible file type it would always play it without a hitch. This Toshiba thingie doesn't like really big files, local or streamed, and seems to have a narrower range of acceptable file types.

I have my share of Itunes video that I purchased in the past, but that was before I ascended to being the righteous pillar of goodness that I am now. It sucks that I can't play them on anything but the one PC that I keep Itunes on now (for ipod shuffle management), but it's not like I need to watch the entirety of Lost or Prison Break again.

I use handbrake to convert stuff to a format itunes and my atv like.

Ugh I'm pretty sure my roommate smokes weed in the bathroom, because that's always the place that smells horrible, and the hallway right next to my door, which is also next to the bathroom. I used to think it smelled so bad in there because the water that mixes with the smoke intensifies the smell or something. But I just googled "indoor weed smoke" and everywhere there is this "trick" to smoke indoors unnoticed in the bathroom and have the water soak up the smell. It' NOT WORKING it smells bad, much worse than fresh weed.

Now I smell bad. FML. Especially my hair.

If it's the hot water trick...it actually makes the smell worse because the humidity helps trap the smell / smoke. But maybe he's hot boxing and that's the point lol. Sounds really inconsiderate...he'd should just smoke outside.

I'm pretty sure that's what he's doing. At first I didn't know what the heck it was because it didn't smell like cigarettes, but it doesn't smell like weed either. It smells much worse than weed. Kind of like spoiled weed or rotten weed. What's hot boxing? Is that done in the bathroom? He might be smoking hashish then. It's resin from the plant versus the flower. It smells awful, very sharp smell. Hot boxing is trapping yourself in a small area with smoke (trying not to let any escape)...the benefit of doing it in the bathroom is when you turn on hot water, the smoke combined with humidity makes you got hot / more lifted.
