i somehow envision bullrider as "that guy" who flexes in front of the mirror and does bicep curls in front of the mirror O_o
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Working out when you still have some muscle soreness feels good man.
Given enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both, and surpass the result.

Yesterday's workout was awesome. I decided to follow Serp and crew's advice and did All Pro's with max weight at 6-8 reps for Squats, Bench, and Deadlifts.
Hit PRs in all those. Felt awesome.

We got that during our last PT class. When you workout you break down your body, then your body recovers and supercompensates before your next workout so you get stronger. However if you train before your recovery/supercompensation is completed and you're still in the "broken down" phase you only break your body down more and get weaker. Pretty much. :P I never workout sore muscle groups. Doesn't seem that beneficial.

You're on a cut right? Do some cardio instead. It's fun.

just keep in mind soreness alone doesn't necessarily mean you haven't recovered. if you can get in a good workout with good form and a respectable number of reps (aka not just doing 4 bench reps when you normally do 8 or w/e) then you have recovered enough imo. then again if you're cutting you're not gonna be puttin on mass anyway so it doesn't matter as much imo.

Not true...if you push yourself hard enough in something and really over do it, can literally take at least a week or two. That's why working out to the point of failure often serves to be detrimental more than it serves to give you gains. There's a reason why power lifters take a lot of rest and never push to failure...you can't make consistent gains like that. You'll get set back at some point. Pushing when sore breaks the muscle down further.
