Shesh, crazy water fluctuations while starting bulk. Guess I should stay off the scales for a while untill it calms down, makes me nervous
lol i haven't stepped on the scale since i started bulking. i prolly should do that eventually, but honestly kinda just letting the mirror guide me at the moment. i'd guess with the water and all i've probably put on 10-12 lbs, somewhere around 180-185 if i had to guess. then again, im really bad at guessing. so who knows.
edit: and one thing that's kind of strange is my abs look more defined when relaxed. idk if that's cause i've been actually hitting abs a good bit or because loose skin is tightening up a bit or what, but it's awesome.

I've gone up bout 6 lbs since sunday , guess its just water retention since im not eating that much yet, kinda weird tho because i've suddenly got tons more vascularity everywhere now, even on lower and upper abs, even my nipples has been conquered by the veins so no idea where all the water/weight has gone.
My abs actually look better relaxed then when I tighten em, dunno if its the loose skin when tightening or I just suck at flexing abs. Its weird.

People tend to over estimate their lean mass from what i've experienced.
Guess i must have been one of the rare few who under estimated my lean mass, was expecting to be needing to drop to 170-175lbs or so before I went on bulk, was a nice suprise when I realised at 190 I needed to bulk.

that is nuts, around 20 over the weekend? What a way to blow your entire calorie intake on liquid...stupid. That is straight up alcoholism, not "having fun". Ive noticed that when you call people out on their drinking alcohol, they get SUPER defensive over it, like how when you tell a crappy parent how to better raise their kid, you get the "Oh no U didnt! dont tell me how to raise my child".

Well it's not really alcoholism and if we're talking the regular small bottles it's pretty easy to do that in one night.
2-3 beers is enough, there is no reason to drink a 12 pack....that IS a problem, not "having fun", getting drunk to have fun is childish. Drink expensive good beer for taste, not garbage 12 pack for 3 dollars beer

Have to agree on that, after I cut back on drinking on the last stages of cutting I realised im having more fun when not focusing on getting as wasted as possible. Tend to get a few bottles of good beer and enjoy them, and still have a blast at parties without getting a horrible hangover the next day.

It's hard to say. I am generally optimistic (on self-assessment especially), and I could always "kind-of" see abs even when pretty heavy. I don't know if anybody would have agreed with my assessment.
That said, your gut is smaller than when I was ~175 lbs IIRC, and I ain't ever given birth.
