Speaking of Dune, have you seen sci-fi channel's movie adaptation? Pretty well done, too, and they came out with both Dune and Children of Dune (the latter included both Dune Messiah and Children of Dune). I was honestly very pleasantly surprised.

I did, a long time ago, and liked it. But my Mom turned me on to the Lynch version, which although it crammed a lot of crap into very little time, and was kind of psychedelic, I also liked it.

I heard of them but never watched...usually avoid adaptations since they tend to pale in comparison. I will take your word for it though and download immediately

The David Lynch movie is like that bitchy, crazy ex-girlfriend. You know deep down that she was an absolute b*tch and made your life a living hell, but you still look fondly upon the great sex you once had.

It was definitely weird, and i can see how someone who hadn't read the book would be going dafuq?

Arguably, I had read the book but watched the movie after I'd had some happy brownies. So, my cousins and I were just going dafuq anyway.
The following are movies you should definitely, absolutely watch sober: Trainspotting, Memento, Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Being John Malkovich, The Fountain, and the Cube. Otherwise, you are crept out for life.

Funny thing is those movies made more sense to me completely not sober...and I know this isn't on your list, but holds especially true for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Completely confused watching while sober...epiphany when reviewed under 'higher' circumstances.

To be fair, Hunter S. Thompson was high on everything imaginable when he wrote the book.

Hypothetically, before I had kids, I might've watched this movie tripping balls and thought it was the greatest movie ever. Then, watched it sober and thought..."what is this ish?"

yep i did it and while it did make me look really lean and really dry, i definitely would not recommend it because it doesn't really make a huge difference in the long run. i did it because i had 10 days til vacation, so figured i'd give it a shot. but honestly 10 days of 900-1000 cals is horrible for your body. i was right around 900cal and like 190g protein most days, it's in my log around oct 10th-20th. i don't think psmf has any real use for anyone but the super obese who need to lose fat for surgery, the pro bodybuilder who needs to catch up a little before a show, or just somebody who's bored and wants to try something crazy for the hell of it. in terms of long-term results, it really doesn't make a significant difference for those of us who are more or less hobbyists.

How many Cals you bulking on? I'm around 4000 which isn't the much considering that StitchT eats 8000 calories and hardly gains any weight.

LMAO BRAD!! I will rape you when I get the chance phaggot. Btw I don't really have a strong urge to binge when on these calories. Yes I do have the thought of over-eating, but it's not nearly as strong as when I'm cutting(maybe 10%?) and I often crave an array of things all the time but I have calories to play with so all is good. That feel when progressive overload 2 workouts in a row.
I only said that because when I go from a steep deficit to a binge I seem to not gain any weight. Usually from 1800 cals to 10k+. Large portion is due to glycogen for sure. I'm on 2900 right now and my weight went down .2 so idk who was bulk

Nowhere near that. I'm going up to, I think, around 2800. I'm only around 2000 now.

I was just wondering how much the cardio was contributing. For the most part, I've done no cardio b/c I was on a large deficit. Was thinking I might when I start bulking though to up things a little more.
