Hello, I would like to order a pair of OLY lifting shoes and some resistence bands. BB.com doesn't have either unfortunately and I have ordered from elitefts before but because they ship UPS i got stuck with like a $100 charge at the door (for brokerage, duty, tax fees, etc.). Anyone know any other reliable sites, preferably in Canada to get bands and shoes, and if not in Canada, somewhere with better shipping methods.

I bought bands from Elite because guys at work have US address boxes making ordering to Canada a breeze. That being said, try here:
http://www.muscledrivercan.com/
They carry both. I have the Pendlay shoes and like them a lot. They also have bands but I can't comment on their quality or effectiveness.
Also an option:

Good luck.

i got my bands from shai idelson in quebec. they're prices are competitive and their bands are jump stretch ones so you won't be getting the low quality crap that some other places sell. here's the link: http://performance-training.ca/
you can also try adrenaline training in regina. he's the metal dealer for canada and i'm pretty sure that he can get you some olympic shoes. he also carries some efs bands. http://adrenalinetraining.ca/

For Oly shoes the rogue canada website is likely your best bet. As far as bands go, I believe rogue sells the iron woody bands... The crossfit gym I worked at had Iron Woody bands and they lose (some of) their elasticity (relatively) quickly. I've ordered from Shai Idelson before and have been very happy (with both my bands, and the service)

I order all my stuff to a place called CBI USA 2 mins over the niagara falls border.
Mind you I order a bunch of stuff at once (car parts, lifting gear, etc) then leave at 6 am get there in a 1.5 hours and drive back.
way less hassle, no stupid brokerage or unexpected charges from UPS or Fedex and you don't get raped on ridiculous shipping rates.

www.Adidas.ca can order with free shipping. Don't know if it still works but the code VISA2012 could get 20%off before.

I ordered my shoes from addias directly and the normally have free shipping an some sort of discount so it makes the price reasonable. For bands and everything else I own that powerlifting related I order from http://www.innerstrengthproducts.ca/ by far the best customer service I've ever had to deal with. If they have it in stock it'll be shipped out same day and on your door withing a 3-4days

Yea Adidas usually ships everything free and just register an email to get 15-20% off, pretty sweet.
I've had great experiences with innerstrength - ordered my Inzer belt from there + Inzer gripper wraps.. fast shipping and perfect customer service. I've yet to try their 'Iron Woody' bands. I read someone on this thread said that they lose their elasticity quite fast?Last edited by B0R0; 11-07-2012 at 10:05 PM.

i went with muscle drive for both because the pendlay do-win shoes looked like they were perfect for my purposes. I also picked up the light bands, and am anxious to see how they compare to my elitefts monster minis. I will try and rep all responses in this thread and thank you.
