Yea, You can see the difference, yours is the Genuine colour label (lighter purple) where as mine is a more darker purple...

Changes in color doesn't always mean it's fake. It's not uncommon for me to get minor differences in label appearance from order to order.

I haven't opened one up to see. I got them through Europa and I assume that they got them directly from DS. I sold one a few days ago. If someone comes back crying I will be sure to let you guys know.

I read on one site they are getting the fake stuff tested to see whats in it.... Hope its nothing bad, Im just glad I only took total of about 10 scoops during ownership.. One guy got through a few tubs before being told about fakes going around

I read masses of reviews of people saying this is the best pre workout ever and that nothing compares to it, Even with just taking half a scoop... Most were saying it was better than Jack3D.. I took 1 scoop and not much happened.. 1.5 scoops and again not much..... others tried it and again nothing, I thought something was wrong with me and I had to take time off pre workouts but now I know why....


I wonder if this is why some people are questioning if the formula has changed as they are not feeling any effects from it compared to when first using it?? They have actually purchased a fake instead of genuine and this is why they think its changed??

Im guessing bodybuilding.com supplies 100% Genuine stuff direct from DS??

Bodybuilding.com has legit Craze. We are in the process of getting the fakes tested to try to find out what is in them. My guess is koolaid.

How long have they been circulating? I bought a tub a few months ago and I just thought craze was crap. Maybe I had a bad tube. I think I bought it off of Supplement Warehouse.......

We only became aware of them recently. After some digging around we think it may have started as early as the summer but we dont know for sure.

No its not a good way to assess it.

I will double check colours of mine but this confirms mine is Fake... I wouldnt go by the colours it breaks up into personally.

Mine is a Pinky colour powder (proof that it is fake) and more proof that it is fake is it has the batch code 1202146 EXP:02/15 which DS say is a Fake code and not supplied by them..


One other thing I noticed is my Craze has about 6 packets of them "Silica Gel" packs, You know them things to keep moisture out... Never saw them in a Supplement Powder before... Does Genuine Craze have a load of them packs stuffed in it?? I was like WTF is this, thought I have another 3 scoops in there, turned out 6 of that Silica gel packs...

I dont believe that I said its a fake code, what I think I said was the lot# is correct but the font is not. Thats why its fake.

Which seller? chances are its not if it was from Ebay and cheap Mine was all sealed like a genuine product on the outside just like the image above (cellophane wrapper) and it had a card seal under the lid as well (Which was open at one side but I thought this was due to the lid lifting it off..

I can confirm that it Does NOT scratch off on the fake tub... Its on there permanently, I have scratch my nail on it back and forth 50 times and tried rubbing it with my thumb and nothing, its still there.

Fake = Pinky look, Genuine = more of a light browny look

I bough mine from a german shop as well. and the colour on the label is actually more similar to the right but less blue-ish and not as purple as the left one. Although the powder is not pink. not sure what to think now

Try and scratch at the Batch number / code, does it come off?? This might be a good way of telling as Sldge says that on the Genuine tubs the batch code scratches off like it has been Stamped on where as on the Fakes it does not scratch off, its like its printed on (I tried on my fake). So what Im thinking is -

Genuine - Batch number Does scratch / rub off

This is a good way to test for now, though it is easy for them to fake it if they really wanted to (ex label printer)..

Just looked at my Fakes lid and it says "MRP" in a circle and then below that "89MM" and below that a "M"
