Trying to get an 8 pack

What do powerlifters do to get their sexy six packs?

But srsly I'd like to add in some assistance work for my core. Any suggestions? I don't have a rollout wheel.

    barbell sit up

one heavily loaded barbell on the floor, place your feet under it when you lay down

other barbell lightly loaded or not loaded, hold it like a front squat, zercher or underhand press/chin

    do a sit up
The muscles i value most are the ones directly surrounding the spine, the hips, the scapula, the femur and the tibia... in that order.

Basically the whole body minus chest and biceps... pretty much the opposite of what your local gym looks like on a typical Monday.

heavy compound lifts will build you a strong core. beyond that, visibility is just low body fat.

i can't believe i'm feeding this troll thread... mostly just because i want to do away with the crap that most people do

put the weight behind your head. i assure you it will be 400 times harder. we all know that if something is harder, generally it is building a weak point more than the easier version of the lift. now i'm gone.

Yeah doing texas method so I got the compound lifts covered. Just wanted to throw some core work in there because I think it would be helpful for staying upright and I have time for it. Thanks.

Getting an 8 pack is going to come down to your bf %. If you are doing Texas method and want to strengthen the core (in addition to the compound lifts), weighted planks are great. 3 sets of 1min+. Once I can do a weight for 2min I add more weight.
