Bama and USC look like NFL teams. Scary stuff.
What do I know? I'm an ECU fan....we routinely play way over our heads to surprise victories only to lose lock wins the next week. Lots of drama.
I really miss Miami being an ACC powerhouse.I may look like Santa Claus.....but I'm feeling like Elvis...........

Jury out on Miami. They gave up 500 yards to the worst offense in college football last year. They needed two turnovers and about fifty dropped passes by BC to win. That tailback and QB, however, looked damned good. Their defense, not so good.
Penn State is learning that Belichick is not great because of his assistant coaches. O'Brien is learning that it is much harder to win football games when your QB is named something other than Tom Brady.
Pittsburgh losing to the Penguins is the stunner to me. Wow have they fallen on hard times.
Bama is incredible. They may not have a single player who can read, but they sure are good at football. They look like an NFL team.Si jeunesse savait, si vieillesse pouvait.

Still, 525 yards is a lot to give up. BC is not exactly loaded with speed and the Miami DB's were struggling to stay with their receivers. BC is probably a six win team this year and they probably should have won that game. That puts Miami in the same ballpark, as far as wins this year.
The question is whether Golden gets them over the hump before they get the death penalty.Si jeunesse savait, si vieillesse pouvait.

To be honest, they were pretty over rated last year. They had a cupcake schedule last year. I have no idea how they got a #8 rating this year. They lost most of their line which was their biggest strength last year.
They have no defense, and Denard can't throw. Shut down their run game and they can't do anything.
I went to UofM, but I grew up just outside of East Lansing and bleed green. Got in a few tussles over that when I was in school

I think most Miami fans are expecting a 7 win type season realistically. Miami isn't going to get close to the death penalty. They have been very cooperative and most of Shapiro's claims can't be proven. He has also stole about a billion dollars from people in a Ponzi scheme, not really the most credible source.
I think the dline was more of the issue versus the DB coverage. It got no push the whole game. This has been the biggest problem on D for the last few years.
The Kstate game next week has the potential to get ugly.

I think they got an extra 10 spots this year based on their old history, kind of the same thing with Notre Dame a lot of years. Some of the media is already on their nuts because of a win versus a high school team.
I expect Miami to struggle this year, but they better beat Notre Dame. I hate Notre Dame on almost a racist type level. I was experimenting with the photo editor on my computer last year for fun. I put an erect penis in TouchDown Jesus's hand with the captin F-ck Notre Dame on it. I would post it, but it is a perma- bannable offense. If someone does want to see it, shoot me a PM.
Disclaimer: I have no problem with Jesus or the Catholic religion, but I HATE Notre Dame Football.

I think the Irish will be the best they have been in years but that brutal schedule this year is going to be too much. I'm not convinced that Killer Kelly is the man either.
The Buckeyes are good for one loss at the most. I can't stand spread option offenses, I'm a former TE, but I think Myer is a genious when he's not crumbling to inevitable set backs.

My Huskers looked pretty good . . . except Rex Burkhead sprained his knee and will have to heal up.
