Colon Cleanse?

Has anyone on here done a colon cleanse? if you have and had good results with it can you let me know what one you used? i prefer a fast acting one. Thanks

My boss, an avid runner is doing the Master Cleanse starting on Sunday.

It's 10 full days of nothing but 8-10 glasses of: Water/Lemon Juice/Cayenne Pepper/Maple Syrup(taste & Cals.)

It's going to be the longest 10 days of his life. LOL

The body does a fine job of cleansing itself , unless you got liver or kidney problems. If it didnt 99% of the population would be dead from all our dangerous toxic waste that resides in our body and adds up over the years or whatever it is those cleansing sales people say.

I've wondered about those cleanses myself. So all the claims of all this 'undigested' food matter in our colon is BS? And what about those gross pictures online of the crazy sh*t (literally) that comes out during the cleanse process?

I havent seen a single study that says its beneficial in any way (not that ive read much up on it). Our lovely colons are a bacteria farm , I wouldnt want to mess much with the balance there as most of it keeps us alive and healthy. Keep in mind 50% of the stuff that comes out is food , rest is dead/alive bacteria.

I think it is somewhat true for those who overindulge or look at when one of you binges or has a big cheat day. You gain a lot of weight due to water and well waste. That waste takes a bit of time to leave when dieting begins. If your an average joe not counting cals then a cleanse can be looked at as just a restricted diet that moves the waste out due to digesting less food and moving the waste faster. Just like when people come off a bulk and go on a diet and lose more weight than usual but due to water and guess what waste.

From what I've read, those gross pictures are the product of the ingredients of the so-called cleanse, not anything stuck in your colon.

I've read the same as well as that the pictures on those sites are the same pictures that have been
circulating the net for years.

Evidently, people with dirty colons. What you stick in it is what you get and all that.
