Real Advice on BULKING
Let's be honest, bulking isn't easy, consuming 5000-6000 calories can be a real challenge right? WRONG.
It's actually not as hard as many people think, and here's why. First of all, you DON'T have to eat healthy 100% of the time, doing so will keep you full for much longer periods of time and frankly will just create an uphill battle for you. When you find that your struggling with your calorie intake, throw in those hamburgers, hot dogs and pizzas, don't be afraid to demolish a big mac meal, and obviously try to eat clean as much as possible, but if 1/4 of your diet is junk food then that's acceptable .When all your doing is bulking you NEED to be in calorie surplus otherwise your just wasting your time.
Don't worry too much about your macros, that's another thing people like to do when bulking is try and count everything they are eating, it's just not necessary, FOCUS ON your calories and your protein, that's it. Think about it, everything you eat is going to have carbs. Keep a running total of everything but don't get too involved with the numbers, just plenty of protein, drink your shakes!
A very good way to increase your calories is to eat foods with healthy fats, nuts for example are brilliant, almonds, peanuts, kashews they all contain hardly any carbs, but very healthy fats. Use healthy oil when your cooking your meat, like olive oil which contains 120 calories in just 1 table spoon!
If your eating a lot of healthy fats and whole grains your calories are gonna be there for sure, but for a lot of people, eating clean like that your not going to be as hungry throughout the day. To eliminate that, as said before, junk food and things like chocolate which is calorie dense is perfect for reaching your target.
This is just advice, you don't have to follow just like anything, this is what I find works for me, but remember If your spending more energy than your putting in, you will never get bigger, fact.

Nobody improves without trying. Period.
Listen to your wisdom as you gain it. Rarely are things lost forever. Change is usually always possible. Second chances sometimes reveal better results than first chances. Always look to believe that you can and will be better. You're not done until you give up.

TO WORK OUT HOW MANY CALORIES YOU SHOULD BE EATING DAILY...
1. Your weight in pounds x 11 = Your Basic Calorie Needs
2. Your Basic Calorie Needs x 0.3 = Your Metabolic Rate
3. Your Basic Calorie Needs + You Metaboluc Rate = Your Maintenance Total
4. Your Maintenance Total + 500 To Gain 1 Pound of Muscle per week.
OR
4. Your Maintenance Total - 500 To Lose 1 Pound of Fat Per Week.
(Give yourself one or two days off to eat what you want, you need to build up too a strict diet, it doesn't do you any good jumping in at the deep end.)
As Far as supplements go, you don't really need any, when I got started, I never used any, I just ate alot of eggs, tuna etc.
But now I play semi pro football and my team gets a discount on Products so I can afford to get the best. If you've got a small budget, take a look in Argos or Holland and Barret, they have some decent stuff.

At least he has some input rather than purely going round calling everyone a failure... It's not all facts, it's opinions, different things work for different people. COWARD!

exactly, which is why using a single multiplier for bodyweight and metabolism is absolutely retarded

That formula is beyond stupid when you don't account for activity level. By that formula i only need 2300 calories a day, i'd be losing weight daily at that rate. Lol reds gonna red.

Just go back and READ your posts as if you were a normal human being and you will see how pathetic you are. You use forum reputation as a way of hurting me, oh please I'd hate to see you get real angry. Kids these days.
