AI Sports Green Coffee Bean Extract

Hello all. This is my first review for a company so please bear with me. First, I would like to thank jiggamanbill for giving me this opportunity to give back to the BB community as its given me so much information.

    Background:

Back in March 2012 I realized that something about me had to change. I was almost 240 lbs, 6'1, probably around 35% BF, had a gut, moobs, fatcepts, feeling sluggish, and one day I realized that something had to change. After reading alot of threads on here about cutting and weight loss, I'm now down to 196 lbs around 17-18% BF. I'm working on getting down to 190 by the end of December, but I'm going to try and push down to 180 or lower to get to a solid base to start building muscle.

My progress thread is located here for those of you that are interested: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...#post878407331

    Intake:

I try to eat under 1800 cal's per day. I'm doing IF with a 40/40/20 split.

    Workouts (Generalized):

    Monday: Chest/Back
    Tuesday: Cardio
    Wednesday: Shoulders/Arms
    Thursday: Cardio
    Friday: Legs/Back
    Saturday: Cardio/Slight Full Body

    Current Supplements:

MP Combat Powder (CPB) (I'm looking forward to trying out AI's Pumpkin Pie that I ordered)
    Orange Triad
    Cellucor C4
    BPI BLOX SSA's
    MP Glutamine

I received everything on Thursday. I started the Green Coffee Bean on Saturday. Whenever I try something new I always do it on a weekend since I never know how I will react to it.

The recommended dosage is 2-3 pills per day. I'm going with 2 per day to see how I react then move up to 3.

I took my first pill around 10am on Saturday. I normally drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the mornings. Did it help curb my appetite? Possibly. Did I have as much energy as I normally do? yes. That was my biggest question about the product since its supposed to block carbs from being absorbed into your blood stream. 20% I believe? Every lit bit helps.

As for my workout, I had my c4 pwo and went to town. As I mentioned earlier I didn't seem to have an issue with energy. I actually had a pretty nice workout, push myself to failure each time.

Sunday wasn't anything exciting. Kept my diet the same, upped it to 3 pills. I still have the energy I did before I started taking this. I did 14 miles on the exercise bike in roughly 50 minutes. I was still able to push myself hard and enjoy it. I didn't care how sore my legs were when I went to play in a pool tournament later that night though.

I'm glad I haven't had any "issues". I know how my body reacts to regular green tea, so that's why I was a bit nervous about trying this out. So far those "issues" haven't happened yet.

Monday was pretty good. I took 3 pills (morning, lunch, dinner). The 2nd full week of every month is busy for me because of meetings in organizations I belong to; hence I switch up my workout schedule a bit. I had the day off so I spent it doing some errands. My stomach was a bit uneasy; but I chalked that up to the Koishi that my uncle made and gave me (its a Polish dish made with flour, potatoes, and bacon). I went bowling in the afternoon to practice up a bit for a tournament this coming Sunday. The evening really tested myself. I did an hour and a half on the exercise bike pedaling 25 miles. That was definitely a workout. I drank around 90oz of water, and after I was done I was extremely hungry. So I did what any normal person would do, cooked 3 egg whites in the microwave so I wouldn't kill my deficit too horribly for the day.

I normally get an upset stomach and the runs. I guess that's one way of cleaning yourself out.

I meant to post this earlier but work got a tad bit busy. Went with 3 pills yesterday. It was my "off day" as I mentioned earlier. I had a lodge meeting after work then swung by to see the guys on my pool team. I felt pretty good the whole day. I have been sleeping well, no more no less than normal. Usually hit the sack around 10:30-11 and get up around 6am.

Sorry this one is so short; it was a pretty uneventful day. I'm looking forward to this weekend for my non-official weekly weigh-ins (I go monthly).

So far I have been eating the same if not less than what I have been. I do have an urge to eat after my cardio days though. The typical "I want to ravage the refrigerator" type ones. I don't eat many sugary treats, trying to stay mostly healthy in my diet. I might treat myself to a fun size snickers once a week or two weeks.

To be honest, I haven't really noticed that much difference in the before and after. I'm hoping to notice a difference on the scale this weekend. I've been doing alot more cardio this week than what I have been doing normally since this has been one screwed up week for me. I should be back on the weights on Friday. I haven't tried any fat burners since I tried MP's Shred Matrix and Cellucor's Super HD over the summer. That was when I didn't drink coffee though. It hasn't been a week yet, so we'll see where things go.

I had a nice cardio day on Wednesday. What was even better was that my projector finally came in so I technically have an 8 foot television to watch movies on while I work out. I pedaled 16 miles in an hour. I felt great; no stopping, breathing easy, wasn't tired after (although as I mentioned earlier, I was hungry but that seems to be normal with me from when I go mountain biking). Energy at work is surprisingly higher than normal. Possibly a little bit more focused.

Thursday is going to be another cardio night until I finish getting my equipment moved down into my basement for Friday. It kind of feels nice relaxing a bit from lifting almost everyday from the past few months.

I missed posting yesterday, everytime I went to write this up something came up.

    Thursday:

I've been a bit gassier lately. Nothing I can't handle. I did 15 miles while catching up on some tv shows on the bike. Things seem to be going pretty well so far. Energy remains the same, sleeping is normal, all is well.

    Friday:

Finally what I have been waiting for. I tried out some of AI Sports PWO (Mainiac) that was sent to me. I normally take my PWO, wait 20-30 min then go for it. I didn't feel like it gave me a pickup.. so I threw in one of their Turbo Sticks. Wow was I feeling great. If I didn't have some left over Assault and C4, I would pick up some of that. It was honestly one of the best chest/back workouts I've had in months. Dumbell flat/incline sets were up from my usual 5 to 7, pullups/lat pulldowns were amazing. After my first 3-4 sets I normally have to throw a leg up for assisted pullups, but I was pumped up enough for another 2 sets before having to do that. The same happened with pushups: normal, military, wide, close.. The intensity felt so great. That feeling when you've been overweight most of your life and you have that pump where you can see veins popping out of your arms: feelsgoodman.jpg. I really pushed myself last night, I'm looking forward to more workouts like that.

Saturday was another nice workout. Shoulders, Arms, and some cardio. Started with some C4, stretched a little bit, then went to down. Just like Friday, things seemed to feel normal. Its been a week since starting the GBCE and I have noticed no energy loss (which was my biggest concern aside from "issues".. lol)

When I started this I was at 196.8 lbs. This morning when I weighed myself I was at 195.2. Yes, I tried as much as I could to force that extra .2 lbs out of me so I could be down into the 194's. I have 12 days to push myself hard to see if I can beat my short term goal by a month.

soab... I just wrote out a really lengthy post and I accidentally hit the back button on my mouse before I could hit post reply. Lets see how much of this I can remember.

I don't know why everyone hates leg day. its not as enjoyable as every other workout. I'd rather be sore in any other part of my body than my legs. It was still a pretty good workout. Energy seems about normal, no extra hunger. Squats/deadlifts/calf raises were all in their normal range. I don't beat on my legs as hard as I should during my workouts. I started taking the pills 15-20 min before I ate that way it absorbs into my system before I eat instead of during/after like I have been taking them. I did have a bit of the "oh no"'s last night before bed. Not sure if it was from this or not.

I was taking the Maniac Fruit Punch and Turbo Stix Orange. The RecoveryPro is pretty good. I like the lemonade flavor; I don't care much for the red raspberry though.

Try to push legs as hard as any other body part... you will notice your overall body changing as well

I know I should push them as hard if not harder than any other body part since their the largest muscle group.. but its rough running up and down stairs all day at work afterwards. (legs/back is usually on Friday's.. so I don't really care that much.. just went easy since it was during the week)

Last night I abused my chest and back. Kept the weight the same on bench/flies, kept all sets at 10-12 reps and just increased the set numbers by 2. I could really feel the burn. wide/close, front/reverse pullups were nice. From losing weight doing 8-10 at a time is pretty nice. Before I would stand there and shudder at the thought of doing them. I did a few sets of crunches and Russian Twists with 35lb dumbells to work my abs a little at the end of the workout. I must be doing something right; they're not sore. Or I didn't work them hard enough? We'll find out on Wednesday when I work them again.

As an FYI, today (Tues) is my off day because of pool leagues in the evening. I usually just eat clean and maintain a deficit.

Other than Sunday night, I haven't had any issues with the way my body is reacting to this product. So far, so good.

So far, so good.
have a great rest day man, tear it up when you get back in the gym
