Tattoos in competition?

Hey I'm into bodybuilding for about 2 years!
Never thought about competing!
Ever since figure started I really wanna get more serious and compete, my question is do I even have chance, as I do have a lot of tattoos!! Full arm sleeve, a big back piece, thigh, stomach, chest etc.

i dont see this would matter i was about to ask the same question myself as i have 1/2 slevee on arm and is entering a fitness model contest for mens health

I have about 8 tattoos, half sleeve..chest piece, both ribs done, and my biceps.

from what i have read els were apparently tattoos can effect your marks in a comp but im not 100% as that is just research i have done. you may be better checking with an actual compitition to see if having tattoos would effect your score

im not sure if this would work but you can get a tattoo makeup/coverup foundation would be good for comps just google it

I'm clearly not entering a competition anytime soon, but I remember hearing/reading that the bodybuilders avoid them because it hides definition, etc. I don't think it's worth a deduction, just the judges might not see it all.
