This also applies to aus and canada, and especially in countries like sweden...
brb 70% of your money goes to taxes
brb no one is rich, everyone is just middle class
brb the more money you make the more taxes you pay, therefore never getting out of middle class
brb no point in striving to be anything because you just get brought back down to middle class level
Idk i guess the only way out of those hell-holes is to become an athlete, singer or movie star; or moving to the USA.

1) Their goals are not centered around money.
2) They travel much more than the average American
3) They have WAY more life experiences than the average American
4) They are much smarter than the average AmericanWhen all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

11-04-2012, 03:35 PM #28"Powerlifters shout at bodybuilders because bodybuilding produces mountains of muscle tissue with no functional purpose. Strongman competitors look down on powerlifters because there's more to strength than a one-rep max in three lifts performed with a minuscule range of motion. Olympic lifters, if you can find them, get to feel smug because every 4 years, you can turn on the TV at 3 AM and see them compete for gold. And everyone hates on CrossFit."

Wouldn't agree with this either. The US balance sheet in terms of unfunded liabilities is actually a lot worse than most EU countries. It's just that we are able to get away with it because we have the world currency.
But OP you have a good point. People in Europe are definitely more socialistic in terms of their thinking while the average American is more individualist. I'm not saying which one is better...just different strokes for different folks. But they do travel more than most Americans. That's pretty much fact (I have many european friends and was in a relationship with a European girl for nearly 2 years).
If your goal is to make it big, you are better off in America. If you are content living a modest/middle class life, Europe would most likely be a better place although there will be big changes coming in the next few decades IMO.-WetBreast is gonna make it crew-

you must not have read this part of the article you stupid phuck.srs.
"Set aside the oversights, including that it appears the study uses U.S. government statistics that leave out Americans’ massive 401(k) accounts as Americans are not required to report these retirement accounts on tax returns. The study attempted to use estimates here, but the disclosures are poor."
