To me there is a huge difference between "oh hey my guy friend and I are going to NYC," and "Hey my friend is in town and we wanted to go to NYC, you in?"

If you weren't given an invite then I would be a little upset. If nothing else it's kind of part of just being a decent person in a relationship to try and make the other person feel secure. I'm just gonna lay down something that's happened to me. My last gf had dude friends, etc. No fuks were given. We have broken up about 3 months ago. With that said we tried to make **** work during this break if you will. She started hanging with one of her "good" guy friends after we had broken up. We would talk here and there and she would tell me that he was still only a friend and that nothing would come of them. Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago, i found out that they had sex, etc. And this is the only dude that I somewhat questioned during our relationship. I guess the point i'm trying to make is that "guy" friends are always willing to sleep with their "girl" friends, they're just waiting for the girl to initiate it.
