It was worse, lol. Deadlift days are really hit and miss for me. I just got into doing them on somewhat of a regular basis a few months ago. On my lower sets, I really wasn't getting much heel drive at all on quite a few of those reps, same thing happens to be on squatting when I don't use a box. Sometimes I try to finessee the weight up, instead of getting tough with it, if that makes sense?

Dagger Initial Impression
* I received the lemonade flavor. Taste is pretty good, not great. This is pretty much a non-factor for me, if it doesn't taste horrible, I'm cool. I tried a similiar product like this by an unnamed company and that product tasted like skin was being burnt off of my tounge. The instructions say to take one scoop, on an empty stomach, with 6-8 ounces of water. Before this journal, I was following some other Dagger logs and the general consensus was that it is pretty strong tasting. With this in mind, I mixed it with 12 ounces of water both days that I used it. Day 1 it upset my stomach quite a bit, but it got better about half way through my workout. I excercised in the morning the first time and usually have 2 meals in me normally before I workout, so I didn't really base an opinion too much from that day. Day 2(yesterday), I mixed up a scoop in 12 ounces about 45 minutes before workout and it didn't upset my stomach. I am using other Preworkouts with this product, but I drink them seperate with Dagger being the first. I was slugish and lethargic before the workout yesterday and Dagger did seem to pick me up a bit. A common issue with this product is mixability. Quite a bit of product does settle on the bottom, so you have to constantly swirl the shaker around. Again, another non-important issue for myself.
Cliffs: So far so good, only has been two days

101 Motivational Strategies
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/maria6.htm
Notes: This was yesterday's workout. I used one scoop of Dagger and 1 scoop of EXT Go preworkout. Overall session was pretty good. I didn't go as heavy as normal and did some higher rep stuff, especially for arms. I did some normal shoulders and arms things, but I ran into some gym associates and they were doing P90X 2's shoulders and arms, so I did that as well before bootcamp. P90X 2 is alright, but I prefer my routine.

Thanks man. I try to keep them somewhat interesting. The sponsored log section doesn't get a ton of traffic for the most part.
My normal time that I train is at 2:00 with lunch being between 10:30-11, so my stomach is usually pretty much empty. The first day I was worked up about a minor personal issue, so maybe that was part of it.
I'm starting to get pretty good at them IMO. I used to always do them on the Smith and started doing them away from it a few months ago. I was also good at dumbbells and before I got my form down with the barbell, I could go a lot heavier with the dummies. I think that is opposite from most people.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I was thinking about doing that anyways because drinking two drinks seperate is kind of a pain in the butt.

Off Day
* I decided to take today off. I mixed up my Dagger in 12 ounces of water today. Mixibility isn't good, don't care too much about that. I would say the taste is an 8. The workout plan tomorrow is abs/calves/bootcamp. I am possbibly going to do a whole upper body workout on Friday just for a change, if not that, my normal leg day. If I go the full upper route, I will do about 20 sets for chest/back, superset those, possibly 12 sets shoulders, and then 12 sets BIs/TRIs supersetted. The plan very well could change by Friday though.Last edited by llahhsoj; 11-08-2012 at 12:37 PM.

Sorry to confuse. Thankfully somebody got it (thanks Boomer). In the movie, there is a dog that has a short, really short attention span, and he will be right in the middle of something and then all of sudden his attention is distracted by a SQUIRREL!
I know you will have an awesome workout as usual. I just thought it was funny that in two days time it could change a million ways. Sounds like me. haha."There's something about a heavy weight that makes a body not want to get under it. I'm going to try it with 1 scoop of Craze today.
I googled that movies and watched some clips. I was wondering why I never saw the SQUIRREL, lol. As far as my routine, I never really do the same one from week to week, or know if I am going low reps or high reps.
I noticed that I am usually a little more hungry in the morning and a little sooner after bootcamp. Usually after HIIT cardio, the last thing I want to do is eat right away after it.
Here is a combined log with all the IL reps: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...7309343&page=1
I was following some before I even started this one. I'm sure that it is hard to keep track of this stuff.

They work so much better standing on plates like I did this workout. Before standing on plates, I went up to quite a bit over 405 sometimes on this, but didn't get nearly the stretch. My 365 reps were pretty crappy today. It is hard to keep track the reps on this, but some of the lower sets, I get anywhere from 20-40. Doing all those raises takes on average of 45 minutes. I have to do these seperate from legs.
