Did some speed work on my squats today. 315 reverse banded to about 40-50 lbs of negative resistance at the bottom, full weight from just above parallel all the way to the top. 3 sets of 8 and about 5 sets of 5 with 225-275 for warm ups (no bands on warm ups)
Didnt use wraps for any of it, so my knees are hurting. Never go full raw past 275 and never go over 5 reps lol so I was definitely feeling it. I feel like this post is kind of incomprehensible but I don't care since im still a bit delirious from all that squatting.
Skipped my front squats since my knees were hurting and just did a bunch of GHR/hyperextension as assistance. Biceps and side delts tomorrow since I'm vain and I cant just focus on strength ALL the time

Anyways I noticed in the fitness world with a free range to bull**** info ect , everyone is an expert . Oh you're doing too much cardio , oh youe form needs work , oh you're eating too much/too little , oh that's pointless do this .
It's usually the weak/ unaesthetic that give this unsolicited advice . I'm all for positive Critiziem but like dude you have to room to be giving ppl advice , you should be learning .

Today was a duty day . Beasted legs . Finished with some squats and did 3 sets of leg presses to legit failure like stopped at the bottom failure . Did one big giant set for my baby calves . Couldn't walk after . If I don't add another inch to my calves by show day it wasn't meant to be . I've hit them to the point I felt like crying in pain (lol) twice a week . Rep ranges from 8-10 all the way to 50 . I've done giant sets , supersets , conventional sets ect . They're my weakest point and seriously a downfall to my physique
Anyways base gym closed super early . Gor 30 mins on the elypicial , then went to the beach on base and did a fast walk in the sand shirtless for tanking gains for another 30 . Pretty poverty/ ghetto but whateverI am currently prepping for a Bodybuilding show, follow my journey :

Well right now im not planning on maxing out again. Im still playing around with different routines/programs but I dont like structured routines. I do what I think needs the most work at a pace that I feel will produce results without burning me out or injuring me.
Since I hit 405 and that was my end of year goal, im gonna work on getting a CLEAN 405 instead of that disgusting monstrosity that I hit last week. Ugliest grind of my life lol.
Gonna hit 225 on bench every time I train my upper push moves until I get it for 20 clean reps, then I'll work towards maxing out again on bench. Should be able to hit a clean 315 by then, at least.
I will probably run a structured routine when I can afford a legit coach tbh but as it is I just wanna do my own thing at my own pace. Just trying to keep it fresh so I dont get bored. Cant be driven by results at this stage of the game, I have to constantly remember to enjoy the grind and love the work.

Lol I wear one of those Rogue Fitness headbands in the gym that Froning wears cause I sweat so damn much... I get so many fookin looks rofl I feel like people are waiting for me to do some crazy CrossFit sh*t.

Im doing 531 BBB so today I hit 205x5+
next week is 220x3+ and week 3 is 230x1+
Shoulder still gives me problems but what can you do. I went from a lot of pain to SLIGHT pain and discomfort. The slingshot takes a lot of stress of my shoulder (highly recommend it)
Oh and my left knee has been aching. fukn 33 year ols grandpa body is falling apart
