I had my regular eggs, oats with blueberries, peanutbutter breakfast in the morning, then about an hour before I had some dried blueberries, peanutbutter, a cup of coffee and I drank tons of water in the morning. But I wasnt really strategically planning it. It was a gay PRT not a bodybuilding comp or a power lifting meet lulz

AHAHA no dude. Honestly my goal up until now was just to pass the 2 mile run time (17 minutes) since i was so out of shape
I am going to want a 300 APFT score though and in that sense I'll be training for a 13:18 2 mile run time (old people rule!)
edit: I'm like 3 or 4 years from e6 eligibility, consider it a long term goal
speaking of which did you know Paquette is now a Gunnery Sergeant down at Miramar?

12/4/12
week 2 day 1
Bench Press:
105x5
135x5
155x5
185x5
205x3
3rd rep at 205 was a medium struggle. I decided to rack and move on.
Squat:
135x5
185x5
205x5
I felt pain in my right knee during the 4th & 5th rep...I couldn't finish last 2 sets.
Cable rows:
105x12
125x12
150x6
175x6
205x4
My knee wouldn't let me do Pendlays, thought sitting cable rows would take the pressure off and it did.
Notes:
-I tried to play it safe by doing week 2 rather than week 3. In hindsight I should have started from the beginning.
-I weighed 253lbs at MEPS on 11/20/12 and 246lbs at my first drill 12/1/12.
-I felt I had sufficient stretching and warmups (2 sets of 8 with empty bar, 1 set of 5 at 95lbs)
-I'm guessing it's a ligament strain. I'm going to take NSAIDs and RICE.
-My weight loss (water weight/fat/muscle), standing in formations, and pavement cardio are the likely culprits for loss of strength and the knee issue.
-I wanted to stick with Madcow on my deficit, though after judging from today, I'm not sure my body can keep up.
-My goal is to improve my run time and continue losing weight until I'm below my max of 223lbs.
Advise me somebody? Pls halp? Picture for motivation:

Just have her follow you in the car. That way its more accurate and she can shout words of encouragement like " keep going" and "your almost there " while blasting Eye of the Tiger!
lmfao at exploding knees. It seems like youre doing the right thing. Shoulders and knees are two things I would DEF baby if I was having issues. Maybe take a week off from the weights, and do LI Cardio for a week and lets **** take a rest?I am currently prepping for a Bodybuilding show, follow my journey :

Ah you're right, I don't want to end up on the cover of a magazine.

Are you sure your squat form is correct? You may have a strain, but from my past experience, squatting always strengthens my knees and relieves my knee pain. You should make a new video.
You could be right about a ligament strain though, especially if you've taken as much time away from the gym as you say.My log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149523363
