707 trophies but it's getting harder to win attacks. Think they're pairing me up against higher TH's since they've got like 3 archer towers while I can only have 1.
Only won 1 defense so far, wouldn't mind getting some D troops from a clan.

He's probably TH7 or 8 and has posted screen shots of getting insane loot wins while in the 700 trophie range.
Honestly, your goal is to get 50% to not loose trophies, but at TH4 its more important to be getting loot and upgrading.

So I did it... it took hours and I had to rebuild my army like 20 times to get from 700 to 800, but I did it. And then I saw that Rage's Den was full again. And it still said I didn't meet the min. requirement. Such rage.

So far I've done two attacks with ten dragons and one in the CC, all level two. I won both overwhelmingly and only lost a few dragons in the process. With the balloon/minion strategy I had a high success rate but wizard towers could defeat them since they tend to bunch up to attack defenses. The dragons stay spread out since they attack everything, plus they can take a lot more damage. When I upgrade to TH8 I will definitely upgrade my dragons and balloons and continue using both.

Also, will rep fellow 11 bang bang when off spread.

all dragon armies work well up until a certain point where the air defenses get stronger. once you start seeing lvl 5 and 6 air defenses or when the village has 4 AD's youll start having a lot more trouble with that setup.

I'm saying, if thats the trophy range that I'm getting loot at and its a trophy range where you are struggling, maybe you should try dropping some trophies and getting into the correct range for your level/th.

Misc IV we have town halls ranging from th6 all the way up to th10

were very active. we war 2/3 times a week and the chat is pretty active and we have multiple people in our clan with 2000+ donations

What are you attacking with? I made second account and was doing fine in that range. Im at TH 5, Level 31, 1100 trophies, and im winning attacks.
Use about 12 giants and the rest archers. Take out the mortars before deploying archers

Depends entirely on the positioning of said AD's.
But it doesn't matter anyway, cuz everyone th9/10 just uses hogs anyway.

Yeah I didn't expect it to work for higher levels. Right now as a TH7 I'm having great success against the higher TH8s of the other clan.

Don't expect it to. I'm still TH7 so I'll figure out new strategies against higher bases when I advance myself.

Hmm good question. Similar defenses to the second base I took out. I'd drop one drag at the bottom to lure your CC troops out and then spread the rest out down there, using a rage spell at the two wizard towers/ADs and then the third rage spell at the top wizard tower/AD. It'd be interesting that's for sure.
